About A-EFIS
A-EFIS is an Electronic Flight Information System for airplanes which works either with the internal sensors of your smartphone/tablet or with the sensors provided by AEOLUS and AEOLUS-SENSE sensor boxes
ATTENTION! THIS IS AN INSTRUMENT FOR AIRPLANES. NOT TO BE USED IN OTHER KIND OF VEHICLES OR ON THE GROUND BECAUSE INDICATIONS WILL NOT BE CORRECT. USE ONLY IN YOUR AIRCRAFT!
A-EFIS includes the following instruments:
- Attitude Indicator (AHRS)
- Slip indicator
- Magnetic compass
- Turn coordinator
- True course indicator
- Ground speed, altitude and vario indicator based on GPS
Operation is based on native sensorσ (or sensors from an AEOLUS-SENSE sensor box). For correct operation with the internal sensors of your mobile phone/tablet, your device must equipped with a 3-axis gyroscope, a 3-axis accelerometer, a magnetic compass and a GPS receiver.
Robust stochastic sensor fusion algorithms guarantee correct attitude indication under any condition.
PLEASE NOTE THAT IF GYROSCOPES, ACCELEROMETERS AND GPS AREN'T AVAILABLE, ATTITUDE WON'T WORK AT ALL WITHOUT AN EXTERNAL AEOLUS-SENSE SENSOR BOX.
If you would like to test A-EFIS before purchasing, please download the free version which has exactly the same functionality as the full version but it is in black and white.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: A-EFIS is not a certified aviation instrument. Do not rely on this instrument as your only navigation aid. Failure to comply to this warning may result in property damage, serious injury or death. You assume total responsibility and risk associated with using this application.
