Carlos Alberto Vives Restrepo (Santa Marta, Magdalena, 7 de agosto de 1961), es un cantante, actor y compositor colombiano. Conocido como Carlos Vives y famoso en América Latina y otras partes del mundo por mezclar música colombiana como el vallenato y la cumbia con pop y rock. Ha sido ganador de dos Grammy Awards y nueve veces ganador del Latin Grammy Awards.
En el año de 1982 interpretó el papel de Julián en la telenovela Tiempo sin huella, se trata de un romántico soñador adolescente que busca abrirse paso como artista. Está dispuesto a entregar su vida por el amor de una mujer dulce y comprensiva.Vive angustiado por el desamor y la impotencia de lograr su sueño. Con este rol se dio a conocer a nivel nacional.
