Introducing TAG (Taxi Assigned by Geolocation) the new taxi ordering service‑– now available in the Greater Toronto area, Montreal and Trois-Rivières. Taxis come and taxis go, but tag them once and off you go!
We are unfortunately not yet available in the City of Toronto, but it’ll come soon, no worries!
It’s free to download and free to use! You only have to pay the drivers for the rides you take, like you normally would.

The TAG taxi ™ application allows you to add ride details, to make sure the taxi you order is equipped to meet your needs (method of payment, oversized luggage, type of vehicle, pets, etc.). You can also let the taxi company know what you thought of the ride: TAG allows you to rate each ride on how courteous the service was, on the driving and on the taxi’s general cleanliness.
Now, no need for a quiet place to order a taxi: just give your screen a few taps! And there’s no more misunderstood names or addresses: thanks to the application’s use of geolocation and to your personalized profile, the right info will get you the right taxi, at the right time and place.

Great app. Works perfect for me on Lollipop. I used the Taxi Diamond app before but it no longer works since I updated to Android 5.0. Switched to this one and its even better, and faster on average.

Doesn't work on Nexus 5 - 4.4.2. Crashes each time I press request taxi - or says ride scheduled then none shows up cuz apparently it's broken!

Can't even find the address, it says put WiFi on and cannot locate me anymore. I think it worked once. Maybe they need an update, because I'm on kit Kat with my nexus 5

If you are inside even a basic house, the GPS may take a very long time to locate you or cannot locate you at all. There have also been taxis which were called but did not move on the GPS tracking map on your phone, or switched from one location to another one several kms away but had the SAME taxi number! This has happened several times.

I installed the application on a galaxy s3. It almost impossible to get tagged, the application is not able to find my location. If it does after a lot of tries, the map will not load and I have to remember the taxi number if I want to be able to locate it. Even if I am on a wifi the same problem occurs. Each time I tried other application that also use geolocation technologies and they worked perfectly. I hope that the app will be updated soon...

Waooow, even before I could use the app, I was unable to create the profile. It is not excepting my mobile number and says it's incorrect !!!
