Just click on a shop near you and get driving directions. Or change the settings to limit the search (e.g., quilt only, or yarn and needlepoint only). You can even change the search area to see shops not just near you now, but shops near places where you intend to travel.

It would not search whatever location that I typed in, city, state and zip. It kept returning to my current location, even though I wanted to search other places that I travel to. Also, I asked for Weaving, and it also gave me Quilting - they are seldom under the same roof. I am going to try "Knitmap" app instead.

Only searches within 100miles is current location. You can't search other places, even though it says you can.

No matter what I do, the app only shows me where I am located. I know for a fact that there are yarn shops in my area, but this app doesn't show anything, no matter what city or state I search.

The app doesn't give an address or name just a dot. Pretty ambiguous into say the least. You will get more accurate information if you just Google yarn stores.

My 1st review. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3. No matter what I click on (settings, location, etc), it turns off and box opens saying "Needle Travel has stopped working." So basically this does not work. Sorry. Uninstalling.
