Megérkezett a győri Xantus János Állatkert hivatalos mobilalkalmazása, melynek segítségével még izgalmasabbá válhat az állatkerti barangolás.

Interaktív térképes navigáció segít az állatok kifutói közti eligazodásban, ahol egy-egy állat képére rányomva sok érdekes információt is megtudhatunk róla. A térképen kereshetünk, vagy akár kategóriánként is megjeleníthetjük az állatok pozícióját. A „közelben lévő állatok” funkció segítségével az aktuális tartózkodási pontunk környezetében lévő állatokat mutatja meg az alkalmazás.

Az állatok menüben a sok érdekesség mellet képgaléria és videó galéria(ezt folyamatosan bővítjük) is segíti a látogatót abban, hogy az állatokat még jobban megismerje. Az alkalmazáson keresztül az állatok adatlapjáról indítható „támogatom” menüben egy-egy SMS-sel járulhatunk hozzá az állatkert lakóinak napi etetéséhez, itatásához, vagy orvosi ellátásához. Az adományozók nagylelkűségét egy automatikus Facebook poszttal köszönjük meg, melyet az állatkert falára írunk ki - hozzájárulás esetén névvel együtt. A támogatásról készülő posztot természetesen saját falunkon is megoszthatjuk.

A mobilalkalmazáson keresztül időnként speciális üzeneteket is küldünk látogatóinknak, így biztosan nem maradnak le egyetlen izgalmas állatkerti programról vagy eseményről sem (koncert, látványetetés, újszülött állatok).

Az alkalmazásban természetesen helyet kaptak az állatkerti hírek mellett olyan fontos tudnivalók is, mint a programajánló, a jegyárak és elérhetőségek, vagy éppen a szervezett programokkal kapcsolatos információk. A játékok menüpontból az alkalmazást fejlesztő Szintézis-NET Kft. néhány kifejezetten gyermekeknek szóló, izgalmas játéka tölthető le.
