Cirrus for owncloud for Android
Tried to use this with another app but with only a limited amount of success. The app wouldn't update/ sync the file automatically which drove me nuts trying to find out the problem. Eventually I had to sync it manually which fixed the problem but I would like the app to do it automatically. Whenever either file is updated the other should be as well.
An owncloud client that actually works!!! And it has a pretty interface too. Now if only the developer would make a version for osx and Linux, using owncloud on the desktop would no longer suck. Don't know why the official owncloud client is so slow? Intentional, perhaps?
Works great. Had no problem with self-signed certificates (which all of my server apps use). Those who are having issues can simply install their own credentials manually. I'm glad this app exists so I can avoid using a browser to do my ownClouding ;)
Pretty much dead. It works as a browser but file associations are problematical, camera upload is broken, and it looks like there won't be any fixes.
works great so far. i can upload, share and access files easily. Though i'm not so sure about security since this app was developed by a 3rd party developer. How can we be sure that you are not collecting our use login name and passwords?
Pretty basic, but it works. However, I can't load any external storage from the app, it all appears as empty folders. Not sure if this an app limitation or an owncloud limitation. Without that, it's of limited usefulness for me personally.
Nice UI and some interesting features but a few niggles and bugs drag it down. Auto photo upload hasn't worked for me and the synchronise feature gets stuck at downloading if the folder is bigger.
Almost useless because I can't choose the storage location. The internal storage is almost full and yet I have a 64GB card which can't be used with this app.
Better than the original! I'd love to have CalDAV and CardDAV Sync adapters for my contacts and my calendars... At the moment I'm using three different apps to gain the full owncloud functionality. Nevertheless this is the best solution I've seen so far.
Nice clean interface. Works well. Not compatible if TOTP Two factor (Google Authenticator) is enabled on server.
Used it for a long time, liked it very much, however the auto upload feature stopped working a while back and no updates to fix that :(
Love the app but does not auto upload as expected with Android Nougat. Any plans to resolve GitHub issue #2?
Instant upload doesn't work any more after upgrading to nougat on my s7.
Works for 2 minutes... after : unable to connect. The owncloud site is available from the web browser but the applivation cant find it
Failed to connect to my owncloud server once and then would never synch again. Waste of time.
Worked excellent far better than any other owncloud app. Synced right up with Davros running in a sandstorm instance.
Instant update not working on pixel xl, great app otherwise
On my LG v20 instant upload doesn't work
The camera instant upload doesn't work on OP3 phone
Don't work image auto upload on LG V20
Great app! But please fix the problem with sharing folders and files with other users. I use Owncloud 8.1.3 and when i want to share some folder or file i see this message "Sorry, your server version does not allow share with users within clients. Please contact your administrator". I give 5 Stars for app, but please fix this. Thank you :)

Great app, works fine. The only annoying thing is that instant upload creates duplicate files on my phone. I need to delete photos from DCIM folder all the time to save space and avoid duplicate files.
Uploads stop if the app is terminated (eg. due to phone sleeping or app switching). This will inevitably happen for files larger than a few MB, so like the official app, this app is useless for eg. videos or large files. The notification remains though, so you have no idea that everything's ground to a halt. There's no way to see active or failed uploads, so you can't retry them. There's no way to dismiss the forever-stopped upload notification either, except a reboot. Don't bother.
Hopefully the devs can work this out quickly. I've updated my Nexus 5x to the latest Android N which seems to have broken InstantUpload abilities. I've cleared Cirrus data/cache and reinstalled the Cirrus app with no luck.
When trying to backup hundreds of files, a select all button would make this considerably easier; right now it doesn't give an option to overwrite, keep, or append filename when you are backing up items with the same name, it just appends them. In addition, I would like an option not to keep an extra local copy on my phone; if I take a picture, it backs it up on the server and makes an extra local copy in the corresponding directory on the phone.
I installed this and use the auto upload for the camera pictures. I did set it up just upload only when connected to wifi. It could have been 5 stars because its free and pretty. My phone screen on time is around 3.5hrs normally, but the app chew off 45-60mins off it.
Needs an option to prevent the auto storing of the file locally on the phone upon uploading photos. Am ending up with duplicates on my phone and have to manually remove the images straight after uploading.
I like the app a lot, but I need some adaptable views for browsing 5000+ photos on my device and in folders in my owncloud, also one cannot grab a sidebar and fast scroll to the bottom on a view, really annoying if you can't revert the order of the view and have to get to the newest photo at the bottom... 3 stars in the meantime
I wanted to create my own cloud to save space on mobile devices. This app duplicates the uploaded files then I have to erase them. Please fix this asap. The other app does this too, you can easily be better just with this change.
Works as expected. UI is much nicer compared to the official Owncloud app. However, it should be possible to move the offline cache folder location to SD card or to set the destination sync folder of some directories mannually.
Was hoping to get it working for my server, but nope. Doesn't support Self-signed certs nor do I have the option to use plain old HTTP instead of HTTPS. Sorry to say man, but you need to fix that. Trying with an Let's Encrypt certificate doesn't work either. All I get is 'Malformed server configuration...' Doesn't tell me much...
I Read in comments you would Make the app async in New Version, so i waited. And you deliverd!!! Wow what an increse in Speed!! One Happy user Here thank you! PS. Also using selfsinged key, works perfectly.
I tried all owncloud apps in the store, this is the best imo. Good interface, very easy to use and good support. Also works with self signed certificates.

Uploading images just freezes at "0% uploading xxx.jpg". And worse, you cannot even cancel the process. It stays there forever. This, since some long time now.
No problems adding an owncloud account with a self signed certificate. Looks pretty nice, and entering the pin is not as klumbsy as with the original app. Good job, keep up the good work!
I tested several clients for my own server. This seems to be the most stable and also with all features that I need.
A smidge buggy and maybe lacking a feature or two but way better and faster than OwnCloud's own app!
