Lots of times there's nothing but silence. Really buggy app!

Obviously a corporate design mentality. App comes up when searching for an app for my local CBS station. Luckily third party apps do that as this doesn't.

The bit rate is very low the sound quality is very poor and tinny with static distortion and the broadcaster generally is not kind on the ears compared to the CBS News app or virtually any other app streaming audio or a video on the Google Play Store

I really enjoy listening to the CBS Radio Need App! I especially like the World News Roundup! There are many other interesting reports on the app as well. Thank you!

HOLD ON! I have a rooted device and this app is asking for root access! DANGER! Why would a streaming radio app need root access? No thanks. I'll continue listening on Tunein Radio. Something is REALLY fishy here!

I work for CBS Radio News. A recent review mentioned repeated ads. That was a temporary problem only effecting us for a short period of time. Thanks for listening and if you have any problems, please use the "Text to Station" feature to let us know. We'll try to fix the problem.

Hangs up frequently especially in the background so that it does not work And nothing else works either. Even touch screen response is severely delayed 20 30 seconds or more Score of 1 star is too high

Now the dang thing wont even play. This app is so full of bugs I don't know who thinks it's acceptable..

Content is already there. A Bigass company in charge. All the content that is successfully delivered is advertising. Crashes are the second most reliable thing the app provides. So many permissions, the only way it could get more info from you is intravenously. Is CBS not able through talent, or expense to get it right! Send CBS your money, today!!!

It doesn't matter if you go into the settings under apps and disable notifications once you launch this app it will recheck the box it forces it's self into the background again frustrating as all get-out

When it's running it's great. If a notification beep or phone call comes in it crashes my Galaxy Note 5

When I am playing CBS News Radio and I get any type of notification (text, email, etc) my phone locks up and I have to restart it. This happens whether I have full 4G signal or have an excellent wifi signal. I went to the aircast website and submitted a service request, it tells me to click on the FAQ page. When that happens, I get the dredded 404 page not found. There are complaints everwhere about problems with their app. What and why is CBS News doing partnering with a company like this?

I LOVE CBS news, but this app is becoming increasingly difficult to deal with. Yesterday all it did was play the "follow us on Twitter" "download our app" and the Walgreens ads on loop. Today it won't continually stream with or without WiFi. And when I opt for it to continue playing in the background, it won't. I'm starting to get really fed up. :/ It used to run much better, I feel. Always has been glitchy, but this is ridiculous.

Choppy audio and WAY too many ads for news radio. You get 3 commercials to every 2 news stories and with ABC news radio, it's more like 2 commercials to 7 or 8 news stories. I understand commercials are necessary and I'm willing to listen to them but too much is still too much. I prefer ABC or even 1 Radio news app. Still trying multiple apps.

Buggy. Stays running even when you exit correctly. Stops and starts randomly. Choppy. Pauses when you get am alert, and will not restart. Amazing a company with this much money and market share has such a horrible application. Uninstalling. As quickly as possible.

I like getting the latest updated radio cast when I'm not near the radio at the live broadcasts, Quickly without waiting till top of the hour! and not a lot of "fluff" from the "cable" outlets.

Was working like a charm a few months ago. Now tells me not connected to audio as soon as I open it.

Have to pause and play again, not a buffering issue.

This app used to rock but for some reason It says it's unable to connect to the audio. Even on 50mb per second WiFi.

Doesn't work. Even though I am connected it says I am not

Seems the radio feed drops or becomes disconnected at random...have to restart app.

Love this app although the stream keeps stopping randomly. I have to keep restarting the app or I'd give it 5 stars. Please fix the issue.
