Sync.ME – Caller ID & Block

It hasn't told me a dang thing about the last 10 calls I have received. It is just taking up space on my phone. I have uninstalled it. It didn't work well after the past few updates.

This app just randomly deletes contacts from my phone. I tried talking to the developer through the app. But that didn't help and I have been trying to reach them about this issue for a year

The photo sync used to work great but now even after linking the contact to facebook, the photo doesn't sync. I have tried to manually sync multiple times. Also for people that are not in my friend list, the fb search result ia useless. If the search can not be as the search in original fb app(most relevant people come up), then give an option to link using username or link or something like that. Edit: I tried to uninstalla nd then reinstall as you support person said but my previous contact photos got deleted in syncing. Please fix the issues

It works relatively simple.... Install, link accounts, sync... Then it will show people and names for numbers you don't or do know. I wish I could tap to agree that a number is SPAM. Sometimes the profile it shows is not right, but it's an easy fix.

I have an HTC 10 with Android 8.0.0 and sync.me stopped working properly in the moment I upgraded from Nougat to Oreo (I already did a factory data reset after upgrading). The most useful characteristic (being able to identify the caller during an incoming call) doesn't work. I already checked all the permissions (in Android settings) and also disabled and enabled again this function in the app but the problem persists. Removed and installed the app 3x times and this function still doesn't work.

Edit 12/30/2017: looks to finally be working again! I'll check it out and update again if anything changes! I like how the images are actually high quality but the syncing can be a little buggy and slow. Edit 11/26/2016: used to be pretty amazing, but did not update the way it used to and finding contacts when matching is buggy. Hope this gets fixed, need a new app for the time being

With the recent update the caller ID no longer shows any incoming calls. Even if I select incoming calls list it is always empty. I don't need to know who I called, I need to know who called me! No response from customer support on this issue.

It's a great app for syncing your Facebook friends' pictures. That's all I wanted it for and the user interface is great. For some reason it messes up contacts that have multiple numbers to show them both as mobile. This doesn't actually change how they are stored in Google but if I go to edit a contact, I see two different mobile numbers. If I uninstall this app, the appearance returns to the correct classification of phone numbers. Fix this and I'll give it a 5. Android 8.1 on Google pixel.

It's a nice app, esp to sync FB pics up to contacts. I would pay for a full license if it was a one time fee, a bit too much for annual subscription.

The app automatically activated an active version that withdrew around $14 dollars off my Google account. It withdraws that amount every year!!! I cancelled the subscription right away bit my money is gone. WARNING BIG SCAMMERS AHEAD

This app DOES NOT perform syncing in the truest sense of the word. It merely adds itself as an additional account within your contacts app. You will see that if you check the web interface of whatever account you may have (Gmail, Hotmail, etc.), the photos DO NOT cross over. The developers of this app should clearly state that. I am not sure what happened, but this app previously did sync directly into your web accounts. Until that function is restored, I will leave my rating at two star.

This app was useful till recently where it decided to duplicate all my contacts and unlink WhatsApp contacts so essentially trebling my contacts and removing names. Have since removed and backed up my phone to get it back to normal.

once this app was great... now it just sucks... it keeps asking for money, it mixed some of my contacts when I merged duplicate contacts and now it just keeps syncing and syncing and crashes... time to move on to the next similar app.. bye bye!!!

Works great for syncing contact photos from social media. But my favorite part is the spam warnings. I don't every have to answer those annoying calls anymore.

Got $25 from me after trial without asking or notifying. I will try to get a refund but doubt I will succeed. I'll change the rating if I do. UPDATE: I got the refund. Kudos to Sync.ME!

This is one of the very few apps that I would consider and recommend paying for. It is honestly worth it. This app has helped me dramatically reduce my spam calls and makes all of my phone's Contacts pictures high resolution from Facebook.

I can't understand why anyone would pay for this. It asks permission to link to my social accounts. But then it can't find my contacts even when it can see my account and see their exact names. It gives me these strange random accounts to choose from and doesn't find the real ones at all. What's the point?

Great app to get pictures from Facebook on your contacts. Also, makes screening spam calls much easier. The free version is a little annoying with all the ads but I think 9.99 a year will be worth it.

I tried both sync me and true caller together. True caller immediately pops up with caller identity. But sync me only pop up after I hang up. What's the point of identifying the caller after I hang up if I wish to block certain calls? Subscription is 50%cheaper than true caller. And the database is very small for sync me. True caller can identify almost 90%of calls not in my address book

Worked flawlessly for syncing contacts with FB etc, having recently switched from HTC to Samsung I was disappointed to find that the FB app for Samsung (although both are android) did not support contact sync... Thanks Devs.. Only used it initially for this function but will ensure to use it to its potential and support the Devs with contributions if possible

It's a "spam block" style app, yet it produces spammy notifications to intice you pay for pro features. Not cool.

On some of my contacts it is bringing up the wrong Facebook profile and will not remove it, nor will it let me change it. When I try to change it, the app crashes. Uninstalling

Amazing app! Would recommend.... Even when calls come through, it tells you if it is spam or not and will sync normal numbers to Facebook.

This app is pretty useless now. I downloaded it to sync FB photos to my contacts but it's impossible find anyone by search to link their FB profile, even if their name is spelled exactly the same in my phone. And it won't even sync their Google profile pic instead.

Latest update breaks the app. Was only using it to sync photos from Facebook (access contacts permission) but now they want me to upload my contacts to their servers. No way I'm giving all my friends info to this random company.

Why after ugrading to Pro, the pro featuring DON'T work anymore. Backups, & birthdays updates . For backups, it tells me that I upgrade to PRO. The birthdays update worked on free trial but failed when I paid for pro

I was enjoying the app and had rated it as "Does what it says on the tin. Positive experience." Given my enjoyment, I follow an in-app splash screen advertising further account integration with WhatsApp and others. Once upgraded, Sync.me simply does not seem able to do this. Worse still, there seems to be no way to cancel the pro upgrade (I am still in my 30 free trial). I am disgusted that they would use false advertising to sign me up to a paid service! I've logged a ticket only to be told that they only sync with the services I have already synced with. Yes, I get that, my issue is the false advertising! I'll have to see where they go from here!

Any chance you can add a + to the syncme profile for numbers as sometimes calls fail due to it not having a +before the number in contacts.
