BT Cloud for Android
Won't work on my Nokia phone. Installed as I'm a b.t customer thinking i was getting something good... I pay enough for my phone ,internet and sport so thought I would take them up on this ... Worked ok till last week. Now all i get is thumbnail but no pictures. Won't sync or upload anything.. rubbish and not much good if you can't see your pics.. please sort it out b.T.
Installed this last night and it looks like my photos are uploaded. Clicked through to back up contacts but I don't want the cloud to manage my calls. Selected "deny" then "don't ask again". I'm now stuck on that screen and can't go forward or back. And yes, i have tried turning it off and on again
This was a very poor app and had one star but after several upgrades it is now a pretty decent cloud app with most of my old issues addressed. I have started using it as my main cloud service as a result. Thankyou! my only real gripe now is that everytime you release an upgrade I get asked for my username and password... it would be nice if it remembered me.:-)
BEWARE contents get irretrievably deleted whenever BT cancels or changes your account. Updated to 16.3.19.3 on 2017.03.12 from 15.2.30.66.7: no useful information in What's New on Google Play Store: "Bug fixes". New app "BT Cloud - Backup" is replacing previous app "BT Cloud". On ONE [m7] Vodafone 4g, Android 5.0.2., Smart Launcher 3.24.19F(beta).
As a BT customer for many years I expected more from the cloud service it's very choppy and crashes on the S7Edge. There is better options out there. All the money we pay to BT and get rubbish apps that don't work.
Stuck on permissions page as I refused permission to access my call data etc. Have turned off and on. Fed up of having to delete and reinstall this faulty app. I pay extra for more storage too!
Can't give zero stars. App does not work on my Lenovo tablet running Android 5. Tried the support email as recommended in response to similar comments, got no reply after 7 days. Always fails to connect and then Android asks to terminate it as it's unresponsive. Tried usual uninstall and clearing data to no avail.
Great idea but sadly doesn't work at all on my Samsung note 3, it gets as far as the login page then goes blank. Tried reinstalling but exactly the same thing happens each time so uninstalled it permanently now. From other reviews it seems there are some pretty serious flaws that need addressing to make this app work.
Can't really call this an app! It's more of a mobile friendly webpage as you get the cookies message when you are trying to login, the help pages are the same. Updates are slow especially if you delete on another device - there is no refresh option , you need to logout and login again. Don't want to backup my mobile device, but I am getting pestered each time I login to backup , despite declining it on the previous login. Disappointing app(sorry, mobile friendly webpage).
Will not work on my Samsung tablet... just get message 'cannot connect." Have had several attempts at different times. Laptop is fine, but cannot use tablet. Very frustrating.
Been trying to backup folders on my PC to BT Cloud for weeks now. Just checked the app again and once again, most of the files and folders that have previously been uploaded have completely disappeared. BT Cloud just doesn't work, the app rarely connects. It's just a scam to keep people with BT. Your files aren't safe and delete themselves.
It's much better than the original BT Cloud. That was as complicated as it gets! I got 500 gbts that I never used because it took to much messing about. But now...... Wow!!!!! It's the best cloud storage app I've ever used.
poor.. stuck on one page it will not let me go back if you did not accept access contacts and make phone calls you pressed t. Not accept and it just goes round in circles it was better to reinstall the app and start again already have not got conference in this
Installed, up and running in minutes on my rubbishy Chinese Droid phone. Excellent and really useful resource. Thanks BT - any freebies going? You got my number.....
Had this app installed on my Nexus 9 using android 7.1.1 but would not download any large file. After reinstalling it, now it won't let me sign in and shows a blank page and then keeps going back to the welcome page if you touch skip or sign in. Have it installed on my Samsung phone and again will not download any large file and the error message are meaningless as they do not tell you why it will not download. This app needs a lot of work to be of any use.
Make sure you install via your BT Wi-fi connection otherwise it will not let you log on. Great now installed. Initially struggled to install, once I installed via BT Wi-fi all good. BT make sure it's clear how to install..
App uploads my photos OK, but I don't have a very fast Internet connection (thanks BT) and when it's doing the upload nobody else in the house can use the Internet until it has finished! It's just taken 47mins to do 9 photos. Is there any chance you can add a throttling option so it does not use the whole upload bandwidth available? I don't mind if it takes longer. If it had this and more options for when it does the upload, rather than just Day Or Night, maybe an exact time (so I could set for example for 5am) and/or when recharging, I would give it 5 stars.
Having issues loging in now this works on my pc but very a timeout after login on my phone... When it was working this day brilliant but now not even usable This is fixed noe
This is the first cloud service among Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, and Cubby, which fails to open any document files (*.doc, *.pdf, etc) on my HTC 10 (running Android 7). It's completely useless as s mobile service.
Blooming thing keeps automatically starting while I am in the middle of doing stuff... Blooming annoying...
According to BT this app is not designed for backing up folders which is why I've been struggling to figure out how to back up my 32GB of music without having to create a folder first and then transferring each folders contents one at a time. REDICULOUS! WHAT AM I PAYING FOR? BT will be left behind if they don't put the customer first.
I have just bought a new phone Moto G5 and want to download all my music contacts and photos. The app won't give me a log-in screen to get started.
Wont let me accesss it. Go onto my account from the web browser and sends me straight her. Once i input all the account information to log on it sends me back to the web page. Round and round in circles.. not happy!
My Samsung was destroyed when a radiator fell on it ... don't ask! Got nearly everything back. Previous phone was stolen, but everything I backed up to cloud was there to retrieve. Thank you BTx
Has always been bad but wow, just tried 6 times to add code as forgot password, everything you retrieve code whether by message or email when you return to the open bt cloud page it restarts so you cannot enter pin and you have to start from the beginning, forgot password etc, enter I'd etc!, get code sent, 15 minute of that and still back to the start, I give up!!, but Bt did reply immediately with help
App won't work on any of my devices keeps saying no network connection this hasn't improved since the last time I installed it.
My Vodafone phone has small memory so all my music is on SD card which app doesn't seem capable of accessing.
Just installed it and the great thing is being able to sync all pics and files on my several PCs, tablet & mob so I can access them all in one place.
Just can't access this app. Enter my email try to enter my P/word nothing doing. What a load of rubbish my advice don't use it.
What a load of rubbish? Spent ages typing in passwords, etc, and it would not let me in, how many times do i need to reset my password?
I cant login. I get past the first 3 pgs then it aske me to accept which i do and then the screen freezes. What am i paying for.
I have tried to get this app to work on loads of occasions but it will not work it will not log on worst app ever thank you for getting in touch and help me sort things out to get the app working now
Every time I open the app it asks for permission to back up when I say yes it shuts the programme down and restarts asking permission to back up
1st install, deselect options for sync, cannot deselect call logs and app doesn't go past info next screens... (Assume unless you grant access to your contacts) = BT not letting use of app unless they sync your contacts / call logs, shame on you BT for not respecting a users choice of privacy.
Stopped working on my phone won't allow me to open any documents.
Keeps freezing and crashing so it's unusable.. I'll keep Google drive for now

First time bt customer and I'm very happy with my service and extras I received. The applications I have installed run without fail on my Xperia xa.

Mike, Moto e running 6 I've just installed this app for the first time, a quick test seems to show that it's working fine. I don't want to automatically back up every bit of data from my cellphone, so I've limited the what to sync section of the app settings. I'll back stuff up as and when I want. That said, the app appeared to load all of the content that's already backed up to my cloud storage area. So, it's working fine.
