Event Flow Calendar Widget for Android
User beware - you better choose which calendars you want this to display correctly the first time, because the widget will never update to show anything else. I've currently selected 6 calendars to show, but only two show for months on end. I've tried resetting the calendars, making sure my calendars had the same settings as the agenda on the widget. I've tried removing entirely the 2 calendars that only show. Nothing works. The widget still only shows the same 2 freaking calendars.
Once you install this and select your calendars you can't change them even if you reinstall the app. You have to mess about with the separate default Google calendar app and it somehow they will get listed as options. But regardless will ignore if checked! So you get one chance only so choose your calendars wisely. Will need to uninstall and find something else. Developer is awol.
"Extensive customization" would be wonderful if you could choose colors via hex codes. Seems wrong to have a widget that is almost the color of my system ui theme. Month view shows you zero information. Everything else it does it does really well. I just needed it for these two things.
It was even the first app I ever bought, but out if the blue it wouldn't load my exchange calendars anymore and even got very slow in updating my Google calendars. A piece of me just died
It's ok and useful but the agenda widget never refresh automatically at the day change. To manually determine a refresh you must open the settings and save those with no changes: this is annoying, please fix this behavior.
This widget has a minimal, transparent theme option that makes it the perfect replacement for the Simple Calendar widget. The latter has some formatting issues with Nougat and has been abandoned by the developer, so I needed to find an alternative.
Good looking widget with clear layout - works well with either stock (lg) calendar or gcal. Allows you to set default app for adding events and using current date as shortcut to the calendar. Also supports emojis in the display - probably not useful for high powered users but a bonus for us regular users. Very limited colour/layout choices without paying but if I changed background I'd happily pay to upgrade.
Really nice, lots of options to customize but why no backup option? It will suck setting everything up again when I move to another phone (which I do often).
It links to your system calendar and is resizable. You can also decide how many days it shows. All I wanted was a 1x4 week view and this got it working! There's a ton of custom features as well, the only one I didn't find working was the opacity setting of "current day background" - but thats not really a big deal. You can select background and text colors from a wheel with brightness/saturation sliders, opacity, text type and size, etc. Its exactly what I needed to complete my phones theme!
Apparently I had a brain fart....could have sworn I hit my menu key looking for anything, but got it now. Waiting for my new device to arrive and will test on it then purchase. Thanks! And nice work!
Since I am on Android 6 the app is not refreshing anything in my calendar, after I put the widget in place, it will not refresh anymore. That is a pity cause this app is the best I have ever used.
Doesn't refresh after making changes. Doesn't refresh to current day. I do not have battery saving app interfering with this widget. If fixed I would give it more stars.
By far the best app/widget I've found... I can't even count how many I've tried ending with disappointment. I absolutely love this; easy to use, awesome looking widget, nice customizing options, and a huge life saver with my sometimes chaotic daily schedule. The only thing I would recommend is a refresh button on the widget.
Nice looking widget but it's really a pity it can only show up to 3 months ahead. Why? I want to scroll to see my teams matches for the whole season! Or my holiday dates for the summer, without having to open the calendar! Would have rated 5 stars otherwise.
Events don't save. You go through all the steps of adding an event and click save, but it never appears on the calendar or agenda. You click on that date of the vent and it says there is no event even though you just entered one. Too bad, I used to really enjoy and it has a lot of potential. I would have paid for it if it worked. Uninstalled.
I love the style of the widget versus the default Google calendar app. The thing that was confusing though is that the "detect location" must be wildly inaccurate. The weather depicted it was 2-3 degrees cooler than other apps (weather bug, Google search, etc). Today it said the low would be 3° which I know won't happen (almost 10° lower than the actual low!). So I manually set the city to be my city and the weather is correct. Other auto detect apps have been okay for finding this information.
I really like it, but I have 2 suggestions: enable in settings the option to choose how frequently the weather it's checked. Also by some reason I need to reboot my phone every day so the widget recognises that the day has changed. Overall it's a good app
Used to be perfect, but recent updates now causes the app to crash when opening an event from the widget.... now the app is useless. Please fix the bug
No option for the weekly calendar over the agenda, like the preview. There was a lot of locked content, so maybe it requires 'premium' unlock. Not any better than every other calendar widget I've seen.
It does not update correctly. Shows past events and today is apparently... 3 days ago.
Versatile & very aesthetically pleasing. Used the free version for a long time but bought the paid for the extra customization features. And plus, figured I should buy it to support the developers. Thanks!
Nice design but I'm missing, on the paid version, using Marshmallow, the widgets you display in the store. Pity...
I have been using this widget for years (or at least it feels that way). I love it. I wanted a minimalist, transparent widget for my calendar and this provided after trying several other ones. Tons of options and it provides me a brief view of my day in an aesthetic that i find pleasant without having to go into my calendar app
Love, love, love this app! I use my phone as a "day timer". This widget is on my home screen to remind me of what I have coming up in the next few weeks. Just got updated to android 7 (nougat?), and now it takes several minutes to see a newly created event on the widget. It used to be immediate. Fix?
The calendar widget is not displaying the selected calenders in agenda setting. But the agenda widget is working fine. Appreciate for quick fix pls.
I like to keep my phone as streamlined as possible and the Agenda widget is perfect for a quick overview of the day/week. Auto syncs with Google calendar which is what I'm looking for in a calendar widget.
Finally a nice calendar widget worthy of my screen. Nice customizations and no wasted screen space with stupid junk. Money well spent.
The free version gives a small taste -- but paying to upgrade is definitely worth it. The Simple Calendar Widget is good, but really buggy for some layouts -- this one is constantly being fixed and updated. It looks great and works flawlessly!
Best calendar widget for Android!
Numerous options to give the look and feel that you want to your calendar. Recommended
Worst app....asking for payment
Failed to open??
Jury's still out on this app
This app is absolutely perfect, just what I was looking for! !
Fantastic widget
The widget itself if pretty good but the tech support of awful. I had an issue when I first installed the free version and had some questions before I purchased. It took 3 days for a response and all they could do was tell me to check my calendar settings. I've had better customer service at the DMV.
If you scroll down to check events, you must remember to manually scroll back up. If you don't, it will permanently stay scrolled down and you could easily miss events. Also, if you scroll by accident that is even worse because you may not realize until it's too late. Otherwise it would be 5 stars.
Very nice calendar widget. Very configurable appearance options (font, sizes, colors, spacing, etc.). Many configuration options related to appearance require purchasing the premium version, but it's only US$0.99, so it's very affordable. REQUEST: After N minutes of no user interaction, it should reset to the current day, so that the user can't accidentally leave it scrolled off the current day.
Although some people may want a quick single tap to add or view an event, I would like to see an option to double/triple tap to view/edit an event to avoid opening them by mistake. Or a button that locks/unlocks the widget for quick tapping access.

Very nice! Works very well and looks good. Doesn't seem to handle multiple day events correctly based on the settings - I have it configured to show on the first day only but it always shows. And option to hide specific events would be useful (i.e., some sort of button or icon that takes you to a screen where you can check "hide" next to a list of active events).
