StopTimer - Stopwatch & Timer for Android
Very good app
U did a good job friend, for next upgrade the number must bigger, than the color in app need to improve & the sound if U can combine with music player it more BEST thing we should have, but U did very well friends ....
It is easy to use as in timer it can be started by just pressing volume up button and can be restarted by volume down button
looks good so far. As mentioned some elements a bit small on the screen, sound selection offset. Mort player has a nice pop up menu that doesn't require unlocking the screen, that might be a nice addition to pause a timer. Also being able to lock a timer from being edited in case of an accidental swipe on the timers.
I use it for a long time, it's good for all kind of things.
After sampling different timers this one seemed to offer the best functionality and ease of use. I go to the gym regularly and have different exercise routines requiring different time intervals. This app allows me to set a timer for each routine which may require 4 or 5 different sets with varying rest intervals in between. For example, I do an "ab assault" routine in which there are 10 different exercises each requiring a different amount of time to complete but with a 20 second rest interval in between. I can actually create a timer specific to this exercise routine and name it "ab assault". I can also assign different sounds to the completion of each timer and also configure the number of times the tone will sound off. This allows me to differentiate whether I'm starting an exercise or starting the rest interval. This app is easy to figure out how to use. I tried another one which had a better looking UI but was too complicated to configure my routines. Kudos to the app developers. The UI isn't top notch in terms of aesthetics but then again, I don't need a timer that I constantly look at. I just need one that tells me when to start and stop my exercises.
Looked everywhere for multiple timers that would start automatically. I used it for practice on timed exams that had multiple sections. Works great!
This is so extreme!!! Awesome to the Max!!
Way too hard to just type in a single time delay and get an alarm when it's done. I got lost in the multiple timers and couldn't use the keyboard to edit my time.
The interface is pretty poor. The small grey buttons: when are they pressed / not pressed? hard to tell. When selecting a ringtone for the alarm, a) the played sound was not of the correspondent ringtone - the list names were offset, and b) when selecting a tone, it started to play, and wouldn't stop, even after exiting the app. eventually stopped after I selected one of the first tones on the list. Xperia X8 w/ Android 2.1
best app ever!
The creator is a badass.
Only app I could find that had the easy to use countdown timer with auto restart.
Everything in this app is good except UI not look beauty
Very good for training and industrial time studies.
Only just installed, but seems good so far.
Awesome app!
Great multiple timer. Easy to use and to personalize plus looks good!
Shit can't. Even lap
GREAT
Very helpful in timed sets for workout!
This app works quite nicely, but the interface is very poor by modern standards. The tiny buttons to set the countdown timer are not easy to hit on my Xperia Ray, but my main gripe is the display. Antiquated 'pseudo digital' numbers on a modern Hi-Def display do not look good :-( Sorry, but it doesn't matter how accurate or 'full featured' it is, if it doesn't look nice, then it isn't nice to use. I've uninstalled it.
Whenever trying to change the tone on the timer the app dies , it's not useful if you're using this timer for sports and training and you need to set different beeps for round time and rest time
after setting a new timer, adding a few intervals and tapping start..... if you tap [beep1] the app with crash. replicated consistently on sm-m900v. other than that its perfectly simple and does exactly what i was looking for.
And I am glad I did, I started running recently and wanted as app that would give me 120 seconds running and 30 seconds ease off, this does the exact trick, I love that it has programmable intervals and that you can save many variants of timers, despite the fact I could do with 4 intervals rather than 3 (for 90/30/120/30 timers this is a fantastic app and gets 5* from me. Awesome stuff.
Does what it says and does it well. The updated version is a big improvement
this app is good app for stop timing! Does it well
Is there an add free version? Add some color options and get a 5!
This was a great application earlier. However, has stopped working on JB 4.2.2. The timer behaviour is erratic. Sometimes it works, but many times the alarm is sounded way past the set time or not at all. e-mail to the developer has not been answered. Looks like the app is not supported anymore. Too bad as I have not found a suitable replacement with equivalent features. I found this application very useful for doing multiple activities in succession and for a fixed period of time. Another feature I found very useful that the countdown timer will stop after a fixed number of beeps unlike other apps where you have to stop the alarm manually. The developer is very responsive to suggestions.
Just what I was looking for - i can set the timer for a 20/30/40/50/60 min session with intervals every 5 mins. I can set a different # of beeps for each 5min interval too - so i know how many intervals are left to go! I LOVE IT!!! FABULOUS APP! :-D (occasional forced close but nothing significant) Thanks for great app :-)
I downloaded 5 or 6 timer apps before I found this great one. I wanted to have different length timers, so I could run for 3 mins then walk for 5. This is only app I found that would let me do that.
This stopwatch timer app can reload timers and there is a repeat and a vibrate toggle directly accessible for each timer. The hundreds of a second in a timer are a bit useless as the human reaction time is in the tenth of seconds only. There is only on timer shown at a time which doesn't use the screen as good as it could. What really nags me is that the timer setting can only be done with +/- buttons. Putting a finger on the + for up hides the view to the number. Who thinks such a crappy interface is useful? Why can't there just be a digit panel for entering values with single clicks? There are other timers which do better
Like the poster below, I tried 5 or 6 other timers. They all suck compared to this. The UI's are horrible to look at, this one is awesome even in the dark. It is flexible, and customizable. Simply the best. I am buying the paid version when available. One request to the developer, can you put in a function that either allows or automatically resets the intervals to 1/X after the cycle is complete and the timer is expired, right now (if you are stretching for example) and move on to a new stretch you have to cycle back to the first interval and start the timer. thanks!
how bout being able to disable my homescreen notifications (clutter 4 me) & have the + & - buttons auto repeat at an adjustable rate if so desired, if you please.
Great app! Very useful and lots of features. Love how you can create as many timers and stopwatches as you want.
It could be perfect if not the small customization buttons. On 3.7 inch screen it's hard to press them. I would put them off the main screen in the settings menu.
It's a simple app with multi purpose use. The ability to create intervals within the same timer, assign different sound alerts to those intervals and repeat all off them infinitely has very practical use like jogging, workouts and even the 20-20 rule for eye care! All this in a package less than 1 mb is appreciable. But the internet and bugs needs to improve. I've already had one fc and few bugs in the interface over the course of 1hr....Hope developers hears it.
All I need for my daily activities are in it.
Only app on the market that does exactly what this does with any success. UI could be enhanced, but that doesn't affect my use
