NVU Richtlijnen

De NVU richtlijnen app is speciaal ontwikkeld voor urologen (in opleiding) vanuit de Nederlandse Vereniging voor Urologie (NVU). Het is een aantrekkelijk alternatief om de Nederlandse urologische richtlijnen op een makkelijke manier te raadplegen in de dagelijkse praktijk. De NVU app bevat de aanbevelingen die in de richtlijnen zijn omschreven en voorziet in het groeiende gebruik van mobiele technologie in de spreekkamer.

De NVU richtlijnen app bevat de volgende informatie en functies:
- Richtlijnen op urologisch gebied, o.a. urine-incontinentie, prostaatcarcinoom, nierstenen en hematurie. Aanbevelingen kunnen op deze manier snel geraadpleegd worden.
- Standpunten, opgesteld om de beschikbare kennis over een urologisch onderwerp te bundelen.
- Calculators, bijvoorbeeld de PSA verdubbelingstijd kan in de app worden berekend.
- Beslisbomen, deze zijn gebaseerd op de richtlijnen en kunnen in de dagelijkse praktijk helpen in het maken van beslissingen omtrent diagnostiek en therapie bij een specifieke patiënt.
- Favorieten, paragrafen uit een richtlijn kunnen als favoriet worden aangemerkt zodat ze snel zijn terug te vinden via het menu.
- Notities, er is de mogelijkheid om aantekeningen te maken en deze op te slaan.

De app is gratis te downloaden en is ontwikkeld in samenwerking met urologen uit de richtlijnwerkgroepen. NCE guidelines app is specially designed for urologists (in training) from the Dutch Association of Urology (NCE). It is an attractive alternative to consult the Dutch Urological guidelines in an easy way in daily practice. NCE app contains the recommendations set out in the guidelines and provides for the growing use of mobile technology in the office.

NCE guidelines app contains the following information and functions:
- Guidelines on the urological field, inter alia, urinary incontinence, prostate cancer, kidney stones and hematuria. Recommendations can be accessed quickly in this way.
- Viewpoints, designed to combine the knowledge of a urological issue.
- Calculators, including the PSA doubling time may be calculated in the app.
- Decision trees, which are based on the guidelines and can help in daily practice in making decisions about diagnosis and therapy in a specific patient.
- Favorites, sections of a directive may be regarded as favorites so they can be quickly found via the menu.
- Notes, there is the ability to make notes and save them.

The app is free to download and has been developed in collaboration with urologists from the directive workgroups.
