Absolutely loathe this new look! Both the website and the app are less user friendly, and I didn't need my wishlist turned into 'love'. This isn't Instagram. Update. You went from bad to worse. This latest update you've done now does nothing but give me 401 errors and says there's no user ID on ALL of my classes. Someone there is clinging very hard to their bad ideas.

Very disappointed that this app will not let sellers update their items or upload new items for sale. It is just for buying goods and classes, not in line with other selling platforms.

I purchased 4 classes and they never showed up in my class library! I would have to search as if I were purschasing them again, then it would say I am enrolled and then I could watch it. Until today now the courses are not available to me! I want my money back!!!

I really like the classes, the plethora of ideas- I can always expand my knowledge base and find specific help. And when I just want to find something I've never tried before, i can always find a NEW technique

Had difficulties at first but seems good now. Customer service support from Craftsy has been good

I love craftsy!

So after 3 months, craftsy finally gets round to updating this poor excuse of an app. Still no chromecast support, according to craftsy, this is the fault of Google. Just like when their classes won't play, it's the fault of your connection, or the browser you use (sensing a theme here?) I've had enough of not being able to properly view classes that I've purchased, I shan't be wasting anymore of my money on craftsy classes.

Still no Chromecast support. Still no offline downloading. App is difficult to navigate, classes I've already purchased just show in a long list, no sorting, no indication of how far I've watched. The website is just as difficult to use now, too. Everything is buried. Course content is good, but you're shooting yourselves in the foot with this new design and lack of Android and Chromecast support.

Lots of room for improvement. Frequently crashes. Navigation hinky. Doesn't remember selections. Better off using your browser if doing more than watching classes.

The latest update today 2-2-2017 is about a D-. For the user who has already bought a class, its features have been reduced to merely being another screen to view the class. I can't add to the discussion, add a photo, or even view projects, much less upload one. When flipped to landscape view on my Pixel XL, app icons are covered by the android icons in both directions. When i tried to provide this feedback using the help button on the app i got an email saying my input was not received, and have me a link to the online help area. This app is nearly useless.

I love it

I loved the old app where the Craftsy class list was on the home screen. Now, you have to navigate through several menu options to access your classes. It's also far more cumbersome now to scan through products, favorites, and patterns if there's more than one "page" to view. REALLY miss the functionality and look of the original Craftsy app and website. At least the new app doesn't crash nearly as much as when it was first released.

With the latest update this app only works in landscape mode. Used to be perfect, now it stinks! While the classes are great, I cannot access them in portrait. My work area does not accommodate my tablet in landscape! Only app I've ever come across that forces you to use it in this way. Fix this or change it back!

The app keeps pointing me to the online page, which is irretating; and when opened again, it refresh and i lose my sorting criteria. Another point, I used to love new classes part and used to check it every day. It summerize all new classes in all craft sections. Now i have to go to each craft in its own section to see new classes. Yes i am into sewing, but i might like trying baking or scrapbooking or photography. All in all classes are great but the app is dissapointing.

This is the worst upgrade I have ever seen! I signed into my account to pay for some items I left in my cart and I have to thank you for erasing them all! I can't remember all of them so thanks to your new downgrade, you cost some people a decent amount of money. Not cool!

After you haved viewed an item in detail you get returned to the beginning of the main list and have to navigate all the way through again. Too many kits on view on each page to make it worthwhile viewing on my phone.

Had to redo my review after one month of struggling through the new app upgrade. It was ill thought out and released too early. Crashing every 5 minutes is not a way to improve the customer experience. Also I should be able to pay from the app no?

You're forced to use tablet in landscape mode, which I hate. I haven't found a way to sign out of the app. If you're on a shared device, this is a problem. The Craftsy app was fun and functional before this Oct 2016 update. Now it sucks, and it will be uninstalled.

What happened? This WAS my favorite app. It's changed, not for the good. The icon won't even appear on my home screen on my tablet or in the apps pages, I have to go to playstore to open my app. It doesn't stream very well either. And I agree with others, the new look doesn't look sofisticated, it's rather juvenile looking. Disappointed :(

What is the point of having an app of you are constantly opening up things in the web browser? As others have mentioned going back into the app takes you back to the beginning of your search results and you have to scroll through them again. Seriously a pointless app at this point. Uninstalled after 15 frustrating minutes of trying to use it.

After applying all filters I want, I click on an item to view. If I want to "add to favorites" it takes me to the actual web site. When I go back to app, all filters are deleted and I have to start all over. Samsung tab E

Ok. So, I do not love the app anymore. First, I've deleted the app and reinstalled it. Everything is so grainy. What happened to the hd quality? Second, I'm redirected to Craftsy online from the app when I look at the sample for a class I'm thinking of buying. Also, it just seems difficult to get to your actual classes. It used to be easier.

Love them all! Not able to put into action yet because of my setup, but I am looking forward to following thru. The classes are well thought out and executed. I can't wait to start. ;-)

Really disappointed with this new upgrade. The old version worked perfectly on my phone so i could view my classes anywhere. Now I'm limited to only using it at home. I have contacted craftsy several times the last instruction was that my internet speed was not correct. Well if that was so i wouldn't be able to watch movies and other videos either. Not very happy with this upgrade, more like downgrade.

I am using the Android app for Craftsy and there are two big problems with this. You can't watch any of the videos offline, so you can't watch them when traveling without interruptions when in dead zones. Also, there is no ability to cast when you're home. Ridiculous!

Its terrible the prev version much better. I sign in then wanted to buy something and it gave me again the option to sign in but i cud not see the section to insert password useless from a great platform to know supper useless platform now.

The latest version appears to have dropped support for Chromecast from an Android device. (v4.0.6 (147-1.0.0)). Since this is the only way my spouse and I would view the videos, it pretty much runs the experience for us.

Great classes. Too bad this app for android does not have the download feature like their iphone version does. My data gets blasted over and over when I rewatch the lessons! What a waste! When can we get the same abilities they get to enjoy!! We pay the same amount of money for the classes as they do! 11/14/16 Well, I guess android users will never be able to download their classes like users with apple! That's why i stopped buying classes! Sick of burning up my data! Thanks for nothing!

In comparison, this version is unsophisticated and visually unappealing. Can't search/filter properly. Images are so basic. Organization of content doesn't make sense. PLEASE revert!

Cannot get the classes offline like you say we can and keep getting error 404 when i watch the videos! Annoying plus!

Sadly can no longer cast to tv - why not? Plus the new interface is really crap. Redid my review from 5 stars to 1 star...

Please give me back my classes. This app is awful it does nothing you say it will. I'm desperate for my usual classes and I've bought some of them. Are you fixing this?

The updated app is a big step backwards. It has a less sophisticated appearance, looking like it's still in development. The checkout ability has been removed for android and my favorites list only has some of the classes I had in there. I also had a couple in my basket which are now missing. I've also been bought one as a birthday present but I've never received notification of it. When I do play a class the app says Craftsy had a problem retrieving the video - I can't use what I paid for!!! NOT happy!!

I have been a Craftsy user for awhile. The app performs well, but it is better on my iPad. The android version on both my phone and tablet are lacking in two main areas: I can't upload images to the discussion area in the class (spins for several minutes and returns to edit message). Also, the landscape view does not allow access to discussion area, notes or course materials. These features are only available in portrait mode, which shrinks the video size. This is inconvenient when I want to take a note or post to discussion and have to rotate to portrait mode for the features to appear. Can the icons be added next to the table of contents for easier access? LOST ACCESS to use Chromecast in one of the recent updates. Please return compatibility and/or make the Chromecast logo visible. There is a chance that the icon is hiding under the orange banner at the top of the video.

I used to love this app, but this version is terrible. Navigation and stability are poor. Compatibility with Google Cast is gone. I'll not purchase any more classes with the app the way it is. Support from Craftsy was of no help. They denied that there was ever compatibility with their app and Google Cast.

Force closes when I try to log in via Facebook. Stuck in landscape mode so it's useless with my keyboard dock. Redirects to website to look at products. Search doesn't work. Filters don't stick. Did you test any of this before releasing this crippled "upgrade"? The updated website is flaky as well. Crafting is just a hobby for me, so why should I waste my free time on such a flaky app? You really hung your customers out to dry this time.
