Careers by Symplicity for Android
The app crashes as soon I want to open a job description up. It used to not crash a few months ago.
App stops working when you login
Constantly crashing when clicking basically any link in the app. I can't believe this was recommended by my university.
The app is always crashing and is never working. The app is completely useless and are better off going on the computer and doing it the old fashion way.
Useless crashes every time I click on a job opening.
Crashes every time I click on something
Maybe if i could actually achieve something without it crashing, i would give it a better rating.
Constantly crashes. Waste of space.
You guys need to fix this
Keeps crashing
Crashes Constantly
I installed this because my former law school uses Symplicity with its Career Office. It was a waste of time. It is extremely unwieldy and frustrating to use. I uninstalled it after 15 minutes of disbelief at how badly it works. The search filters don't work. The job descriptions show up as a wall of text most of the time, making the whole point of this app even more vexing than normal. There are also old listings from 2014 that show up on the home page. If you don't think your job search is stressful enough, you'll love this app!
Very bad app. Inside the app they are rendering the web page. Why would someone need an app for that? I would simply use Chrome. The app crashes when my university posts some important events.
Asks too much about your info before you can actually use it.
servers are down most of the time
Does not work most of the time
What's the use of an app that crashes at each attempt to load it?
App won't work at all.
The website is inelegant and the workflow poorly-conceived. The app crashes, won't start, and I'm not sure whether to praise it for being honest and not even trying.
Garbage. Won't start period
Crashed often
The reason I would give this a bad review is because I am job searching everywhere... And this is the only application that won't allow me to upload my resume to it. It also will not save my favourite careers, so as soon as I return to the app... I have to dig in the job postings, once again. Sometimes, I am also unable to scroll through the entire job posting. My phone is a Sony Xperia Z5, and once these bugs are fixed... I will change my review.
The website wouldn't let me in but the app did...
Great App????????
Downloaded purely to adjust notification settings, and app offered a blank screen for 'notification settings'. If this specific to the university I attend, I would not surprised at all.
Newest updated Android app keeps crashing every time I click to open it. Please fix this ASAP.
This app is horrible! It's so buggy. Every time you click on a company it force closes. Please list attending companies on your desktop view, otherwise students cannot see them!
Terrible. 9/10 times I try to use it, it crashes within 20 seconds.
Crashing each time I click on something
Crashes within minutes every use
I can't see notifications
Hang always
Doesn't work. Keeps giving me error messages when submitting terms and conditions+privacy form. Won't advance past that stage. Also doesn't allow me to view terms and conditions.
Cannot sign in after selecting school. App keeps stopping to work as soon as I hit Sign in. Bad performance.
Doesn't work without your current school being signed up for it already. Kinda clunky. Needs work.
The app crashes the moment I click sign in.
Buggy mess. Constantly crashes. Less robust than the web version.
Till now, I didn't get anything worng with the Careers by Simplicity. It works good.
Can't even log in.... app keeps crashing

This app literally sucks; it crashes almost all the time, it's so underdeveloped, and it doesn't look aesthetically pleasing whatsover. Also, what's the point on the app notifying us about new search agent results if it wont even show the results?? This just happened to me AGAIN today. Like really?? I don't usually write reviews, let alone bad ones, but this app actually ticked me off for the final time. Believe me, I've been trying to stay patient with this app for at least half a year now, but nothing has changed; I'm starting to think there is not a single developer adjusting and maintaining this app. Stop promoting the app if you aren't going to fix it.
