As of recently, when I try scrolling the text blurs and the screen starts bugging out, preventing me from scrolling or reading. Also, there are quite a few ingredients listed that say "always animal derived" when I know that isn't the case. I said that in an older review but I still don't see any changes.

I find this app very useful but i wish there was a feature that let users email the devs about things that are not listed.

When I scroll through the list, the text drags up the screen. It's so annoying, it makes me want to stop using it.

Does not support large screens, app is displayed in a very small box top right corner on my Droid Razr

I didn't become vegan because I love staring at raw meat! I can't even use this program after a lifetime of vegetarianism.

Useful, very helpful. Wish the animal ingredients listed the veg alternative in the same screen.

I noticed it said that Vitamin D3 is always animal derived. That's simply not true. There are vegan sources of Vitamin D3 (besides the sun) including mushrooms and lichen. Some say they are "fed" non-vegan D3, but one just needs to expose the mushroom to sunlight to boost its vitamin D3. No need to "feed" with something else that's animal derived.

A good app, lists many ingredients and explains them. Many aren't listed though, such as the E-numbers, palm oil and nonvegan sulphurs. Would like to see the app being updated with more ingredients!

For a start, not all the information is accurate. Rennet is not only animal derived, it CAN also be mushroom and microbial derived. Also, there's no search option!!! If I'm using the app, I don't know whether to look under plant or animal derived or I wouldn't be using it! Also, a number look up would be good. It doesn't help to know that carmine is not vegetarian if it's just listed as 120.

An OK list but several issues: - 1. Why a "vegan list" and an "animal list" - I have to check 2 lists to find out that the item is not listed. All other apps have a single list with a red/green colour code. - 2. It doesn't seem to include any European additive codes e.g. E-numbers. - 3. Vitamin B-12 is listed as always animal-derived. WRONG! (Unless bacteria are animals) - 4. No search function, just scroll scroll scroll. - 5. Information screens are badly formatted and do not align. - 6. Cluttered with redundant information that gets in the way. We already know alligator skin, eggs and leather are animal-derived. Clue is in the name. Actually I might just uninstall.

I use this app frequently and can't imagine doing without it.

A very handy app, especially for new vegans. It looses points for having a picture of meat behind the "animal products list."

Would love the addition of a product database with a barcode scanner to verify products are vegan especially for those products where ingredients are derived from both animal and plant. Otherwise love this app. Use it all the time when grocery shopping. Good job.

I've been vegan for almost 8 years and sometimes there are ingredients that are questionable so when I found this app. I was so happy!

All those ingredients that are unknown can be checked. Yea.

This app would be great if there wasn't a disgusting picture of meat in the background... gross.

This is a very useful and accurate app. Use it whenever I see something I'm not familiar with.

Thus far ive yet to want to look up an item that isn't on here. And so far no problems with my phone, groovy.

Wish it included where things/products come from, example palm oil: mention how palm oil is produced and how it ruins forests and many animals die daily. Eating palm oil is not being friendly to animals.

This helps shed some light on the disgusting disease filled stuff they try to feed people. Very helpful. I definitely see being a vegan in my future. Thank you for creating this app. ♥

App doesn't list half of the items I've searched for, yet lists several others when I dig deeper. Display doesn't utilize screen on Bionic. Will update score when explanation of missing items and screen space are addressed. :)

This app is just so helpful. Every time I'm shopping, I need to take it out and look at it because there's some obscure chemical I'm not sure of. Thank you so much. My one complaint is that there is a picture of meat in the background of the animal side. I'd prefer plain red or a picture of a living animal on a sanctuary.

The information seems good and concise. The app is easy to use and navigate, including a search function. However, text is not as sharp as it could be on the Nexus 7 tablet (not tablet-optimized). Still, text is large enough and easy to read, though a text size option might be helpful to some. Perhaps a favorites function would also be useful. And, although I'm not a vegan, I agree with others that the gross meat background picture should be replaced!

Has come in handy many times. Works great. I wish the organization were different: one list stating vegan or not instead of 2. Otherwise great ap.

I would love to see someone develop a fully functional version that allows scanning barcodes on Android. Let's take down the multinationals that are feeding us dead animals!!

Works great. Needs an option to scan products to let you know if they contain meat.

Text doesn't fit in the box on the lgg2, no option to search by vegetarian ingredients. Would like to search by enumbers as this is usually were I get cought out. The GUI is very basic and could do with being made more user friendly .

Essential for new vegans!! There's always some funny looking word that could literally be anything and you can search it quickly for a simple, to the point explanation. It also gives some began alternatives if the ingredient is animal derived :) well made app!! Love it!!!

Missing a lot of ingredients but helpful in general. I like the graphics as well.
