I'm a big Norton fan. I use it on all my equipment. This apply will only go as car as saying I need to install Nortons Security. It is already on my phone, even tried reinstallment. Still apply will go no further than saying I must install Nortons. MAJOR GLITCH!!!!

It's a screening tool. Use this to see if you NEED security software like NS. Check before & after installation of NS to verify vulnerabilities covered. Sole exception: Quadrooter check shows positive result despite system & security updates & NS installation to show persistent vulnerability (not proof of attack) due to Qualcomm chipset. Suggest use of Belarc security advisor to confirm if vulnerabilities persist if you are worried. Provides active protection against USSD for phone. Last update 9/16. Go to Norton Community online if you have concerns - it's worth it.

Anything to do with Norton is annoying! it takes up such an unbelievable amount of space that when you try to download other apps you have to delete apps so therefore I deleted anything to do with Norton and what do I know...I have my space back!

People complaining that you have to check each vulnerability seperately don't understand that you don't need to continuously check all of them. Unless there's a major update to your operating system most of them don't change.

It keeps asking me to install Norton Mobile Security which I already purchased. Just to shut it up I selected to install it and it showed on my Android that it was already installed. However, this app is so stupid it still won't recognize that. Uninstalling and do not recommend until they fix this. I already have the Mawarebytes Anti-Malware Premium, but thought I would get this as added protection.

My moto g 1st gen, got a stagefright update. March security update. This is the only app that flags it as vulnerable. All other apps, including the one from the reporters of stagefright say my phone isn't vulnerable.

The license is for desktop software. Ignoring that it gives them permission to interfere with (uninstall) other software, not related to protecting your device, but in an anti-competitive move against other security software vendors. Not to mention that you don't see the terms until you install and launch the app, by which time they've already acted.

Scans too quickly, I don't think that it can do a very thorough job of checking 32gig internal and 128 gig sd in a couple of seconds. Thanks.
