The Fallout mod is a great addition to any wasteland or apocalypse scenario in Minecraft. It makes for a more difficult hardcore gameplay by providing many of the mobs and weapons found in Fallout: New Vegas. It even carries over many of the game’s sounds as well.

First and foremost before venturing out into the world it would be important to don a set of armor. A lot of these pieces you’ll find along your travels and you’ll be able to upgrade from there. They also provide great resistance to radiation as you’d expect. You can even craft a pip boy! It mostly adds extra storage to your inventory right now but has potential in future updates.

You will likely come across enemies from the Fallout series but you’ll also encounter recruits that can aide in your battles and help fight these mobs with you.

And of course your arsenal is now massive with many pistols, shotguns, rifles, and explosives.

All in all this mod has a lot of potential but it does improve on any serious hardcore servers you may have.
