Stretching & Pilates Sworkit - Workouts for Anyone for Android
I'm working on losing weight, and I found this to do before my workouts. I love it. They give you poses to do instead of trying to figure out what to do yourself. They have a timer, but you can adjust the time on it. They aren't that challenging, but they push you far enough to know that your stretching your body. The examples are extremely helpful also. That way you know what it's supposed to look like, rather than trying to interpret words.
Basically the step by step timer plus video and versatility in playback is amazing. So in case you missed a step you can always go back or if you didnt fully grasp how to do a strecth you arent missing out. I would and have recommended this app for others to utilize. 5 stars is what i mean. C'MON man
Just downloaded it today and I must say that I like how the virtual mentors are soo alike us who are working out. Haha And! Its easy to follow! Will definitely use this for my LISS Sessions! Keep it up!
This tells you out load when it is time to switch sides and when to change exercises which is nice for when you can't see your phone. The exercise reminders which can be set and turned on or off whenever you choose is not nice too. I like stretching esp on sore days. --Catherine Revelation 21
It's a great app. The videos are really great. Would be 5 stars if you could change the timer on each stretch, so you can do each stretch for up to 2 mins. Also you should make it double the time for stretches where you swap half way. 15 seconds just isn't long enough for a stretch, it's not enough time to feel it.
I was looking for a good stretching app to use before exercise. It delivers that using clear voice commands and videos of real people as opposed to some of the horrible animations out there. Liked it so went on to try the plates session...also good. Will be interested to see if it changes and gets harder as I use it more.
I love this app - the audio/visual count-down, video example of the stretch, and the ability to set how long I workout, it's perfect. I've been checking out a bunch of apps for stretching - most of them are only a single video, a library type reference of stretches, or a pricy exercise community program. This app is just right for my needs.
It's so amazing like the best I have tried in the recent time and I know it's going to remain my favourite for a long time. Give it a chance to show how great it is. Also, it reminds me to workout which helps a lot especially the days I don't want to do any workout at home or at gym.
I really like this app. One issue I'm finding is I would prefer to stretch for a little longer than the 30 second timer each time. There is obviously the pause button, but it would be good to customise the standard time per exercise.
Thought I found the one. Video guides, narration, customisable workout times, automated countdown. The problem comes from the fact there are only about 15 stretches and 15 pilates movements.. Not sure how anyone can do more than a 10 minute workout as it's so boring doing the same stretches over and over for 20 minutes. Needs a much larger variety of stretches to be worthwhile.
This may go up as I use the app more. As a new user, I'd like more of a tutorial on the stretches... there are no words with the videos and the videos go faster than the voice telling you to change sides. I assume you follow the voice but it's not explained. I also found the exercises kept jumping from floor to standing and back, with not enough time to get into position between stretches.
I love the whole sworkit series because of the video instructions and how all its exercises (that I've tried) can be done at home with zero equiptment, but for some reason the videos are blanking out halfway ~ and for a workout newbie like me, i have no idea what the exercises are based solely on the name. Please fix the bug, its such a great series
Love it. I'm trying to incorporate regular stretching into my day and this app makes it really simple and easy to do. The ability to change the duration and style of workout is a great feature. So too is the reminder function should it be needed. Recommended.
The routines can used for both warm up or cooling. And if you miss your regular gym work out or are feeling tired bored. Try a 20 min routine which is very effective. Well designed and great workouts.
The stretches are easy to follow and they made me feel better after my workout in terms of the soreness. Not a perfect app but good for its intended purpose.
I started using this because my back was hurting from my bed springs. I have been using this for a week doing one five minutes stretches every morning. My favorite thing about this app is that every time that I start the stretching it is random. I find it best when you keep the body guessing.
Visual- clear animated demonstration, easy to use. Audio- voice instruction, no need to look at phone while working=> easier to focus. Time custom- best for busy people.
This app is doing great for my flexibility. I have also noticed I am not nearly as sore after a work out or worse the next morning. I am feeling GREAT!!
This app is really useful. You can do the type of exercise you want for as long as you want. I feel great after doing the recommended exercised for 10 - 15 mins a day. Definitely worth having it.
I always wanted an app that can motivate me and guide me through the stretches. This is the perfect one. It shows you how to do the stretch and count the time for you. Thumbs up.
This app helps me over school breaks to get it together. Also staying healthy is a huge part of any persons life, and they demonstrate the perfect workout!
It would be nice if the stretches flowed better. There is not enough time between them to keep going from the floor to standing back to floor and so on. It makes more sense to do all floor work together followed by standing, etc. Also, if one could put together their own routine.
Excellent for a free app never the same work out twice. It mixes it up each time customizable and you can skip something if you don't want to do it
This is easy to follow but with real effects that one can feel right away! Great for beginners or people trying to get back into it. The reminder is super useful for those of us prone to procrastination.

Wow, ONE OF THE WORST STRETCH APPS. A few of THE MOST OBVIOUS stretches out there and THAT'S ALL. UNINSTALL. WHOLE LINE FROM THIS DEV IS EQUALLY USELESS, BASIC, BORING AND PROBABLY TOOK THEM ABOUT TWO MINS TO MAKE EACH APP. Waste
I like its simplicity. The demo is easy to follow. One tiny problem is that they don't tell us if we have to maintain a position until they say "change sides" or keep repeating that same position.

I know you want this type of app which give u want. It doesn't access data free for use enjoy this app & please install if want to increase your height or stretch your full body.
This app is a great addition to the strength and cardio I have been doing. Easy to add a few awesome stretches on scheduled work out days and longer sessions on my rest days.
Better than other workout's that haves the premium. But I like it, this is free. I like the way that the inventor of this app, share it with us FOR FREE. Really motivates people to be fit! Great! So much with this I like all the apps of this.
Nice app BUT... 1. During the countdown, narrator could have explained how to do the stretch properly 2. Videos keep pausing on their own without resuming
I have been having severe back pain. My doctor said that since I have a sit down job now, I need to make sure I stretch regularly. I love that I can do this for 5 minutes or 20 minutes, depending on my schedule.
I like this app because it works for me . I'm so out of shape. I tried working out on my own but no success. I tried the gyms but hate it no support system when you need it. I'm on a mission turning 50 in two months!
Honestly, this makes working out so much simpler. If I don't feel ready for a workout, I skip it and move onto the next movement!
All Sworkit apps are the best exercise apps on the app store! They give you visual directions, and how many calories were burned!! Truly amazing :)
Whenever i have no time to do full exercise routines due to stressful work that makes it hard for me to wake up early and do exercise. This app helps me keep going. I really love the simple workout and stretchings inside this app .
Nice app for guided stretch exercises with! However, some exercise videos show a black screen, such as the hamstrings stretch and the arm and shoulder stretch. Can you fix that, please?
Amazing app! Very thorough, great for a beginner, and has voice commands. I love using this app in the morning when my 4 month old first wakes up. I can easily stay focused on him while doing my stretches, unlike with some apps that feature only pictures. All in all, I love it.

I'm lazy and overweight! I have this app and the workout one for me to do at home until I've built up enough self confidence to go the gym! I didn't want to go there and get puffed out after 5 mins. I even think that these apps alone are that great I may not even have to go to the gym! May I consider a similar app like this but using things around the house to use like you would using gym equipment? Thank you app developers!!!
