The idea came about as our cat Oskar was sniffing around the web looking for a cool site to play. He couldn't find one. Although we found a few virtual pet parks out there, none were created with the care and professionalism of a dedicated team that viewed the user experience and design as top priorities. But a social network for pets isn't a revolutionary idea, so we added some cool new twists to keep people (and pets) coming back! We wanted to create a fun-filled online destination for crazy pet lovers like us. At the same time, we knew we could leverage our collective love of pets to convince merchants to offer great deals to the Swisspets community. It would be a win-win! So we integrated these two concepts and developed an awesome experience that allows you to connect with others, share your best stuff, shop exclusive deals, and earn some cool ribbons!
