Swipes - Plan & Achieve Tasks for Android
Great app. Not too complicated so that I resist completing tasks. Can I request a feature? Can I have large cards that stack on top of each other instead of a list of tasks? This would be similar to the 'doo' app on ios. This is so i can complete one task at a time without seeing my whole days tasks laid out. Cards with your lovely swipe functions. Thanks
Don't get me wrong. I love the program in and of itself. However, it has just never synced properly across devices and platforms. I use the online version on Linux, the android verion on my phone, and the Mac OsX desktop version. No sync at all. A great app with major flaws.
I love this app, but more often than not, I have trouble with bugs. Sometimes when I'm trying to check something off my list, it just keeps adding it back or it won't even let me check it off anyway and I literally cannot get rid of it. This is absolutely infuriating and if it's not resolved soon, I'll sadly be looking for another to do app.
The concept is amazing. But this is the absolute slowest app on my Nexus 5x. Not efficient! The irresponsiveness gave me major anxiety this week! I am enraged from how miserable it has made my planning. I had to switch to any.do!
This used to be my favourite app but on the my iPhone there would be a little number on top of the app on my main screen showing how many I had left to complete but on my android there isn't one. I found this the best way to use it so I'm frustrated it's not there anymore. Tried FAQs etc but no luck.
Used to love it. Thought latest (and only one in over a year) update would fix issues, but no. Still incredibly sluggish and buggy. Scrolling through list & calendar lags. Swiping to "Later" doesn't save updated date/time and just reappears in "Now" list. Fails manual sync. Pretty much useless app now, for my dozens of scheduled tasks. Hope to see a fix soon. In the meantime, I'm finding a new app to use. Seems this one is playing favorites with iOS users and ignoring the needs of us on Android.
Unfortunately not exactly what I needed. I wanted to use this with Evernote but it only syncs one way (Evernote to Swipes). What's the point?
I really wanted this work. Waste of time. Plagued with sync issues. Look at the forums.
Great idea and super intuitive. 5 stars once the development is polished. Buggy, doesn't always apply labels. Tasks don't always stay completed and there doesn't seem to be any accurate syncing between the Android app and Desktop (Mac) Application, nor the browser version. Fix these and I'm a solid user. Nexus 5x
It works OK but when you set up a recurring task it doesn't work. I am deleting it since that is why I got it was to manage my recurring to do list.
Hey guys, a very nice to do app. It would be great if you could make the sounds better or add an option to change them coz they sound a bit weird.
App is not syncing correctly and syncing is very important to me. This is the only reason I can't keep using this App. Aside from that, I love the concept and beautiful UI though.
First to do list that actually works for me after trying so many. Give it a shot. Only one I'll use
Great app and love the fact that it works as a timetable with reminders at the same time. However, the repeat feature doesn't seem to be working for me... Otherwise, best to-do list app
Stopped synching without explanation. Cleared cache & data, logged in again, ancient tasks resurrected. Hopeless.
If you have goal to achieve you have swipes in your smart device. Integration with other tools make it irresistible to get.
The iOS version updates much nicer, the Android version at times does not update at all, I love the iOS version would love see the same love given to the Android version
App has nice animations but swiping is hard. I accidentally done my todo a few times.
It would be excellent if unscheduled tasks could be sorted. It would serve as a real backlog.
So buggy I uninstalled it.
Not reliable. Non intuitive.
Cool but buggy. Work spaces for tasks arbitrarily don't appear when I filter for them.
can't sync ,recently
Clean and awesome interface. Best app for creating tasks. Thanks..
great stuff --- thank you so much.
Simple and useful.
1. make it easier to creating tasks for another date instead of creating it then snoozing it 2. allowing us to look at another day's tasks (eg. tomorrow's tasks) in the widget 3. making it easier to change the time AND not have a default time added when creating a task 4. allowing us to move tasks in the app (rearrange them) 5. allow us to mark a future tasks as completed by swiping to the right, instead of bringing it back to today's tasks then marking it as completed
I've used a lot of to do apps but none can compare the type of experience I have had with this one. From the UI all the way till the interaction of swiping to do's off my list I have enjoyed every minute using it. In my opinion, this app is an essential tool for staying productive!
I think this apps lies between a feature-packed all-you-can-do app and a plain to-do list. It's well balanced. Thought it has some annoying bugs. When triying to save a note or tag it, it just won't sometimes. This is very important guys.
Amazing app, great interface and featureset, web version needs improving. I really miss the feature of custom snooze presets, like a set time of day today (eg this afternoon) and the option of a task recurring every x days. Also, the option of swiping to change tabs needs improvements, should you have a screen crowded with tasks, it's easy to snooze something out mark if as done instead of changing tabs.
It's been 2 years since I first tried Swipes. Using it the past two weeks has shown much improvement. The early bugs are squashed. While I pine for more malleable repeating tasks, I can overlook that for a great productivity/procrastination tool. The focused windows show you exactly what you have on your plate, what's ahead, and what you are able to leave behind. The tags enhance this by letting you fixate only on your immediate situation instead of your entire life. 5 stars. Great application.
It's an amazing idea. I've used many todo apps and thought "this is it" for a moment. But the sync issues render it almost unusable. Please disable sync (or put an option to) until you can reproduce and solve the problem.
Have been using this app for a very long time. Hope to see it be updated. To those who want to set a specific time for your tasks, after you select "Pick Date" long press on the date you select and the option will pop open to set a time.
please allow Google calendar integration for this app. feels liberating to see your schedule in one place. i just didn't like the fact that it relies heavily on Evernote. a great app on its own right!
Have been using app, since beta .. getting better and better. Keep it up developers. When will us note user get multi window usability with this app. Soon I hope. . Also more integrations. Then will rate a 5 star
The app tends to lag especially when I scroll and when I add a task.I have a ton of other apps & they all work quite swiftly,so I don't think it's a system issue ....why is this happening? When you count on an app that u use on a regular basis, you expect it to be quick and responsive. Please look into it.
Could only give it 2 stars because it was unreliable in its syncing between phone and web, as well as between Evernote and Swipes. Log out and log back in, and it wipes out all my tasks!. All I got from support was to allow more time for the syncing... Really? I love the app - and how it is supposed to work. Will revisit if/when the bugs get out.
Material design looks great and the app is amazingly simple. However completed tasks kept reappearing on my list, so I've had to uninstall it
Only used it for 2 minutes but when checking battery life a few hours later it had used over 10% of the battery... Update. New update seems to have corrected the battery drain

Best app for fast task management I used. During the last year not much happened tho. So it still have some bugs like widget is not refreshes itself sometimes. Manual sync fails to run. Some UI bugs like I can't dismiss pop-up window by tapping on the eight or left from the pop, what is common practice for material designed apps.
