The Swingbyte gives you a lot of visual and technical info to self-diagnose your swing. Once you decipher what it all means, you will better understand your swing flaws and work on correcting them. I think it will pay for itself vs lessons, which is like going to the chiropractor, for me. I seem to keep paying to work on the same things, with little improvement or understanding what I'm doing wrong. Love my Swingbyte!!

After setting up your account you can't change your email address later. How stupid is that! They claim it's a security issue, for heaven's sake it's golf club swing data not your bank details. Oh of course you can change your email with your bank, silly me!

Can't get the device to pair with my phone so the app is useless. Connects fine to my iPad but I don't want to lug the iPad around everywhere to practice. Really disappointed will probably just get rid of the device. Good thing I didn't pay full price for it.

App is good, wish it played the FULL SWING, and had pro swing from all clubs... As for device,as we have heard this first gen swingbyte is flawed, it doesn't stay in position on shaft. Luckily, I found a way to anchor it perfectly with a small piece of fishing line. You don't have to hit balls for this to work so this is a valuable tool for urbanites. Sometimes I just go out in the grass and whack around my dogs tired old chewtoy(can't be too heavy)

Some minor issues, clamp has broken, but jubilee clip has solved that. Most data doesnt mean much to me. Overhead view with laser lines brilliant for comparing with pro swing to groove on plane swing.

Excellent information. Have some connectivity issues on Android have a new phone with 6.0 so hope for better results

Can't get it to record a second swing. Not sure how I got the first one recorded. I also will not record any video. This Swing byte 2 is going to get returned.

The app works well, but there is no information at all about what the data means. What do the changing colors on the swing path mean? What is the face to path data telling me?

If you understand what it shows you it is a great tool. I have improved from handicap 15 to 9 since I got it. Great tool, easy to use love the video feature.

So far everything works and no issues after 3 rounds of 100 balls practise

Had the original and they just sold me the new version for $100 posted to the UK to upgrade a great tool to analyse what your swings doing. App very intuitive and easy to use. He video ability to great. 5☆s

I like the feedback that I get from Swingbyte2 my only complaint is that it will lose its connection to my phone even when only a few feet away.

Lg g stylo android phone took me a minute but figured out the sensor position to get it working

This is a rating for their warranty service. Not even a month old, and the case cracks where the clasp connects. I contacted swingbyte, sent them a copy of my receipt; they wanted me to pay s&h of $23 for repair! are you for real? That is unbelievable! So buyer beware, hopefully your clasp doesn't crack!

Update: recorded video is upside down on nexus 5x. One point of improvement is to add an info screen that explains all the data in a layman's term sort of way. For the physical Swingbyte 2 device, I have had some issues, the spring isn't strong enough to keep the lock closed for multiple swings and the device spins too easily on the shaft. Note: Make sure to put some hockey tape on the shaft and use tie wraps around the device.

6 hours of back and forth texting with tech support.. Camera video does not shut off either. Never got one swing to register on my HTC M9.

Gives lots of data compared to other swing analysers, however data can be misleading if device not properly aligned and calibrated before use.

Have the swingbyte 1v...its almost next to impossible to connect to nexus5 and iPad air..if it connect it disconnects immediately..please help

Great product. The app could use more filters and variables for showing shots made.

Doesn't record the "digital" swing or statistical information when connected only actual video. Would love to use it again....

Swingbyte has been a tremendous teaching tool for me and my srudents. It is simple, yet very effective in providing many details that occur within the blink of an eye during the golf swing. It has been easy to follow and easy to interpret the data that it generates. It has allowed me to cross apply the graphic swing plane data to my actual attempts to execute a desired swing. Most of all, I have been able to receive excellent support from customer service. My golfing buddies don't know how I have been able to move from a 15 handicap to a 10 in a few months. Hats off to SWINGBYTE.

Works really good for analysis of golf swing when you don't have alot if time to practice.

I have a swingbyte 1, cannot get it to connect anymore to the app after update.

Great product, and the developers work very hard to make sure you get what you pay for.

Very diffuclt to hook to android devices. I wasted hours trying everything. Disconnected from Ipad, repaired, unpaired, connected, still no orange light! The analysis software and video are excellent, but you can get that other places.
