This is the best free and ad free flashlight for your mobile phone. I could say even more, but I know none of us cares past the point I just said which is 100% true.. I use it myself (heh, I hope that's obvious by now).. anyways, anyone looking for a flashlight for ur smart phone that is NOT trying to SELL or CHARGE you for something.. this is the APP for ALL OF US! Remember, we are DEAD SERIOUS!! I HOPE YOU CAN PARTY.

Does what it says on the tin. No fuss, no ads, no daft permissions... But turns off when you lock the screen, which during prolonged use you would do to avoid accidentally turning it off. Would advise making this a tick box option in the settings for the next update.

Please be careful while installing apps. I was trying to download an app for torch and found that many apps are trying to access your gallery images and browser history etc. Now why does a torch app needs to access my gallery and browser history. . Beware. . These guys are a cheat

Unlike some other flashlights, this does not want access to my email, photos, location or contacts. Also I like it dims the screen when turned on. I have another one that blinds you with a bright blue screen when turned on.

Oh I have to thank the developer of this little gem. I have tried so many flashlight applications that light is streaming out of my ears. More like it was driving me nuts looking for an application that is just a flashlight not a advertising failure. Thank you developer for a nice clean application.

Without asking or needing permission for everything including your soul like some other torch/flash light apps. No ads, no bullshit. Super app. Well done developers.

This is the best app for torch and u know why?? Cause when u have a widget of it , it doesn't open the app and manually switch it on. U just press on the widget and the light turns on! Other torch apps are stupid!

Does exactly what it says on the tin and no permissions required. At last an app that doesn't want to know the ins and outs of your phone.

I loved this app on my old phone (HTC wildfire) because it did everything I wanted. Now on my lg nexus it turns off if the screen does, the strobe is no longer adjustable, and quite frankly does not have the options to function the way I want it to.

Other popular apps state they only use your camera, but after install, antivirus software shows they access over 16 private items on phone. Trust me, my antivirus proved this to be accurate. That's unfortunate, because they're being both misleading and selling your private information to third parties. Torch, on the other hand, uses camera's light and deemed safe, according to antivirus software. Thank you Torch!

It turns the camera LED on and off. It has a widget for one-touch operation. It has no ads. The only way it could be more perfect is if it settled disputes between you and your spouse.

As it says. Just a little torch. Perfect. Could have a larger toggle button (my hand-eye coordination isn't the best when I'm in a hurry) but is brilliant nonetheless.

Finally, a flashlight app without ads!! Would give 6 stars! Nothing more frustrating than finding your way in the dark and pushing an add by accident which causes the light to go off.....

Exactly what I wanted, a torch with no adverts and a simple on/off button. The low RAM usage is a bonus. Excellent work Developers. Please don't change it!

I downloaded 4 other flashlight/torch apps before finding this one which had no ads or pop up!! Yeah for this one they got it right! Love it!

No adds and small program. I like it very much. If I can make a suggestion and that is I would to be able to have a switch on the front that could rotate through three pre set light intensity and off but that's my wish list. Recommended highly and I have tried a fair few others.

But I doubt it will damage the LED if used continuously I guess. An answer from creator can be helpful.

Hello. I'm using Xiaomi note 4g, not working. It say can't access camera resources. Using custom rom (mokee). Update. No its working fine. Another flash light apps running and lock camera.

Tiny download and storage footprint. Basic on-off. No adds. Dims the screen when on. Doesn't stay on if you launch an other application (on Android 2.3.6)

Nothing fancy, press led comes on press and it goes off

Phone freezes after displaying a few container-layers under the torch. After this only a hard reset saves the phone.

No adverts! I've nothing against adverts in principle, but all the other torch apps I've tried have adverts - and when you accidentally tap the advert, the torch goes off and you can't see any more... Not here! Thank you :)

However, there is a delay between the moment I press the widget and when the led light turns on. Tiny Flashlight is instantaneous.

Had this app on my Galaxy S3, now on my S5. Simple, beautiful in its simplicity. That in itself would earn it 5 stars. There's a bunch out there like this, and, as someone else said, don't mind in principle having ads on free apps, and hate bloatware, spyware, tracking, etc., etc. (who doesn't?). This app has none of that, and it's open-source to boot. Unfortunately, I can't give it 8 stars. Oh, and it seems to stay on even past the screen timeout time (set the screen timeout to 10 secs to check it), and leaves the switch icon on the screen, and there's a setting to come on automatically when started, instead of the two-step "flip the switch".

The fact that lack of ads is a selling point in a torch app pretty much sums up the state of Android developer community.

so simple, its a wonder why it's so hard to get a flashlight app that doesn't try to do all this extra useless crap and use said crap to justify ads.

This is the fifth torch app I've tried and finally found one that works reliably, with a simple toggle switch, has no adverts and doesn't crash or have other irritating bugs. You would think that making a torch app should be trivial, but it's amazing how many people screw it up. Good to see someone got the basics right.

You want a torchlight, you get a torchlight. The app size is small, no ads, no extra stuff I would never use and no need for all sorts of permission. The best is you can switch on the light with the widget and still use other apps on your phone. Thank you!

But now you must change the widget icon... its not attractive or even good looking.

Wow no in ya face permission list like most of the other apps like this. Perfect. Love it. If there was 6 stars I would click that, 5 is an odd number so can't click that! Ps, I love Linux! Just hate Google.

As a flashlight it works, OK. Forget to close it before turning off the screen - it will eat the battery, completely in a few hours.
