SWIFTSCALES - Vocal Trainer

This one explains underlying reasons why we choose certain sounds for scales, titles scales for their purposes, provides routines for all levels and allows for flexible custom routines. It even has breathing exercises and intelligently learns your range. Amazing, probably the only thing that can trump this is an amazing in-person vocal coach.

It had a bit of a learning curve for me as I'm not experienced with practicing scales but now I'm figuring out how the program works and I love it. My learning curve had much more to do with my limited musical training than the program. Love the practice routines. and the ability to play around and try different things with it as well.

This app was completely useless everywhere I went was an ad that completely over ran everything that was happening. didn't even have a chance to learn to use it because of the ads.

While no app can match the effectiveness of an actual vocal coach this app had me fooled for a second or two. I have tried several vocal coach apps and this is by far the most extensive one I have found.

Highly customisable scales (key, tempo etc.) that are loud enough through headphones to use immediately before a show. No internet connection required unlike most which is also helpful

And it becomes the first app I purchased in all these years... Its a perfect app to train your vocals... simply awesome something i always wanted.. thanks guys keep up the good work Cheers....m/....

I feel like the app is great, but has restrictions to vocal range. I'm a professional soprano singer and the highest note is just not high enough for me to use during warm-ups. But it's a great app not considering the the vocal range part. Maybe you could increase the vocal range? Thank you.

I'm a full time vocalist and this is incredible. Use it before every show, it let's you customize your warmups for what you need (pitch, range, flexibility, endurance, etc). Please download!

Hope. I hope I won't regret downloading this app, wasting my mb, ba3 and time. If I love it, I will give it 5stars and recommend to others. It's a promise but if otherwise, I will recommend against it. It's also a promise.

Nice app. It gives a fair amount of examples. I'd personally like to see a few other exercises, such as switching octaves, vibrato, and other vocal patterns. Also, if I could cap my range, and just push these now and again slowly would work a charm. 18 years on, and without practice I've lost 7 half-tones in range.

Is there any way for the app to hear what i am doing and give me feedback on my pitch? In the pitch option it has you sing and hold the note but when i play it back there is nothing there. Maybe also habe a feedback option for all the exercises. Besides that it seems great.

My only question: how does it determine my vocal range? Does it just go by where I stop on the scales, or does it identify the notes I'm singing during the exercises. I'm guessing it just goes by where I stop... At any rate, it's awesome!

It seems an interesting app but I can't find a way to get it to give me feedback as to how well I'm doing and how accurate my pitch is.

It's great, improoved my voice a lot I started two weeks ago with no hope to be able to sing again but like a miracle everyone wants me to sing again and again because they like my voice

I love this app, I've found it a convenient way to get my out-of-practice voice back into shape. Suggestion: I'd like to hear examples of the whole scale or passage being sung.

It's a great tool for warm ups and training, if you take the time. Very useful...

Can't believe how absolutely perfect it is, I use it every morning!

I have been using this for three minutes and I've already been interrupted by two full page ads. This is beyond my tolerance and I will therefore uninstall this app as these ads are unacceptable to me.

It's superb for beginners as it will help improve one a lot, yet to start using but I am sure it will be very useful

Good vocal scales using the Speech Level method. Useful to have it all in one quick app. Provides good vocal workout.

I had dreamed up an app like this, then searched to see if there was one - there is. I train with the Singing Success method, and this app makes it so much easier to create my own routines, like those in Singing Success, and keep them in my pocket. My only complaint is that it could use a few more sounds. I often use "wow", "buh", "ah", "goo" and other sounds to activate different coordinations in my voice, though many of those do not exist in the app. It's simple enough to just remember which ones I need, but it'd be nice to have them in there to jog my memory. I love vocal science and hope to become a vocal trainer someday. This app will most likely be most most common tool. It's affordable and effective! Thanks SwiftScales!!!
