MileTrack GPS for Android
App is simple and isnt bogged down with a thousand options, just the necessary tools needed for mileage reports!! Just a heads up dont save any reports with / slashes in the title it bugs out the report and a huge thanks to Andrew for the quick response and help to resolve the issue!!
Simple to use. Accurate results. Printable online reports. Awesome.
Version 1.2.4 added a new auto-tracking ability, which sounds nice, but it is a battery drain on my HTC ThunderBolt. The new auto-tracking feature will detect when my phone has moved and then activate GPS to start tracking my mileage. But without leaving my home, I would find GPS running and connected. This caused a scare until I traced the problem to MileTrack GPS 1.2.4. I suspect that movement is detected first by the cell-tower triangulation. If the phone moves between towers, the GPS turns on and MileTrack starts tracking. But my home office is in an area where triangulation may put me in two different places depending on the floor I am on. Thus, walking up or down my stairs makes MileTrack think I've traveled and then it activates GPS. Thankfully, this option can be disabled, but it's on by default, which I don't like.
Paid service after trial period, and "automatic tracking" is not only battery drain but potentially spy -ware.
Simple, straight forward, worked as described.
Only lets you use stock navigation. I use Copilot.
Nice. Simple way to track & bill/report mileage.
Simple and works well.
I always get my mileage now. I used to forget to track it (by writing it down) and lose out. Never again!!! Great dashboard and the app uses very little resources on the phone.
