1. Install and run the voice app once
2. Install free SVOX Classic Text-to-Speech Engine
3. Go to Android Settings -> Voice Input & Output -> Text-to-Speech settings.
Activate SvoxClassic at the bottom of the screen.
Select SvoxClassic as the Default Engine.
4. Run the voice app, click “Continue”, then follow the instructions.
5. Your SVOX Voice main screen will be now visible. Don’t forget to try the new pronunciations correction feature (‘pencil’ icon)!
6. Download other free / paid apps to combine our voice with. For example, you could try: Google Navigation (on Android 2.2 and later, only with Navigation < 5.9), Moon+ Reader PRO, Voice Actions Plus, TalkToMe Classic, Book Speech Audio Books, Transzilla, Good Morning, WakeVoice...

Hello Nuance, Several weeks goes bye and the NO LICENSE Issue has not been fixed. I had bought a long time ago the PAY VERSION of this voice. PLease if you can TRY to resolve this ISSUE with your APPs (I know that it is a problem of Google and not yours, But If we don't push Google to fix it) . A lot of consumers are really affected with this CHANGE in the PLAY STORE. My Phone is a Nexus 5 with Stock rom & rooted.

I can't believe I paid for this. Ivona beats SVOX hands down and it's free! The Spanish SVOX is really difficult to regulate and the pitch is irritating at best. Further more, the developers have made no attempt to improve it and they must know how bad it is, in fact last update was almost a year ago. Ivona beats SVOX hands down, it reads my books naturally and there is almost no set up. You only need to change it's pronunciation of English names if they really get on your nerves.

Recent update broke any svox voice to work on Google Maps had to go back to last backup of voices. Its just the voices update and not the svox tts app. Running ICS on my transformer and G2 both rooted and both were working great before update. Thank goodness for titanium backup it saved the day. Dev please fix like using your voices with Google Maps going to block updates till this is fixed. only one star.
