SVOX US English Grace Voice

His instructions in his post below fixed my crashing and not opening issue on my Samsung Note 5. Working fine now.

Paid for it, downloaded it, and it won't open/work. By the time I tried it several times and reported it, the 15 minute refund period had past. I emailed the developer. No response. Waste of $3.

Would be great but everyday I have to download the data for it. I can be using it, stop for 5 minutes and it quits working. I'll look and I have to download all the data again

This application is not working I bought this app when I attempt to open it says application has stopped. Please provide some assistance. Thank you. 4

Won't download even though I know I'm connected to WiFi

I could listen to this voice all day. Oh crap I guess I do. I have no life.

This used to work great now not at all. Force close, I think the developer no longer updates the main app. Newer android versions no longer work.

If anyone has some other one that costs less works with Android 7.0 could you let me know. I I hate that is not loading anymore. I sounds like the person that made it might be gone now. I loved this app so much it was great.

Can't do a thing with it on note 3. Every time I try and open I'm getting error message that it has stopped. I paid for this please fix

I've been using Grace since 2011 and suddenly it does not work. It appears the servers are down and does not recognize my license. Seems like Nuance took over? No reply from tech iat all.

Needs to be fixed to work on the Droid Maxx

When AVX attempts to download SVOX Classic voice free trial, update or after purchase I get this pop up "Unable to connect. Please make sure you have an active Internet connection. If you do have an active Internet connection and the problem persist, please try again at a later time." I have now NO voice for AVX at $19.99 you'd figure AVX would offer other voice options to keep from losing customers? I filed a complaint with Google after no response from either developers.

Used this voice set for several phones now. Just upgraded to the S4. Every time I try to set it for TTS, it crashes. Great voice, when it works. Please investigate.

I really like SVOX and have been using it for a long time. Now my Note 4 upgraded to KitKat a while ago. And it crashes every time. This was going on before on my Note 3 on Kitkat. Imagine when Marshmallow rolls out for my phone.... ugh... I want it to work or my money back!

Had it installed on galaxy note 3 which died. On a replacement note 3 it refused to work and gave an error every time I tried it. Reinstalled it and got same error. No problems with other voices. Used US Grace instead.

No update since 2012!!!! And doesn't work anymore on Galaxy S6... Too bad, used to be a good one

Used to work well on my Evo 4G LTE, but won't work at all on my Galaxy S5. Disappointing because I hate the Pico voice. What really sucks is that I had already spent the $$ for the purchase when I had my old phone, but it doesn't do me any good now.

Grace was a great alternative to the default. I purchased the software. Then, some update (I'm assuming something from Google), bumped her off and set SVOX back to default. After a subsequent reinstall, I was not allowed to add Grace back to the TTS engine without being forced to install the demo version and pay for it again. Email to the developer was not answered.

I use Grace as I like how I can customize the pitch and tempo. Now if I could give her a sexy French accent she'd be perfect! Oui oui!

Works great for ever but now it won't load just keep stopping

Adequately suitable & audibly effective. Please add some sexy male & female voices & accents, too. Examples: English speaking male with an Italian accent or English speaking female with a French accent.

I've been using on my Galaxy Note 2 (Jellybean 4.1.2) and without question these are the best voices out there (Grace is favorite). It appears this app has possibly(?) been abandoned as there have been no updates or action on the web site for 2-3 years and there seem to be a lot of problems with newer android versions. However, on the Note 2 it works like a charm and I tried virtually all other voice packages out there - these were far and away the most natural sounding and also flexible as you can even customize how words are pronounced or create your own dictionaries, etc. 5-stars from me, but it appears you may have problems if you have a newer version of Android beyond Jellybean.

I am sure many people love your Michael am Grace voices. And they are great if you want to be seduced or go to sleep. Do you have something a little brighter and less seductive? Without sounding like a robot? Would love to spend my money on it. U r the best I have found, but I just want something a little different. Hope you will find an alternative in the future. Thanks for your time and effort.

Such a relief to hear the most human sounding computer voice also capable of reading everything aloud (if your hardware supports that). Makes all the apps you use that are TTX better like gps... Doesnt sound computery..lol try the trial for the period.. I was hooked when it switched back to default voice when it ran out.

This one does better than Michael even though they both use the pronunciation corrects I added. Love that you can control the pitch on these voices.

A simply wonderful application. .. And as simple as they come... I will use this as long as it let's me. I couldn't ask for a better tts program. If you don't have this new you've truly debited yourself

The voice is great but the app stopped working with KitKat and hasn't been updated in over a year. Please fix.

This is the best Americans English TTS voice after hearing them all.

Have to reinstall grace every restart of phone to hear voice. HTC one s. Please fix. Thank you

It's still the best voice simulated around. Its way better than the Google voice talkback. Others are not bad Google Play, but this is consistent.
