Monochrome for Android
Great app. But would love if you could allow for it to be set at any battery % the user desires, as I am quite OCD on battery, I would like to have it on black and white 24/7. Otherwise, great work, keep it up!
Your app has caused a very serious problem to my device. I'm using OnePlus 2 phone. I used this app. It turned my phone into grayscale when battery reduces below 15%. After i charge my phone from 0% to 56% (in switch off mode), and turned it ON, the grayscale won't go away. O then set it disabled in the app. But still it keeps my phone in grayscale. So i uninstalled it amd reboot. But still it remains grayscale. Then i wipe everything (except Internal usong recovery) and reflash my ROM, but again it remains in grayscale. How is this happening? How can i get rid off it? Kindly help me as soon as possible. Thanks.
Would be nice simple ON/OFF option apart from battery level or any automation. Monochrome display looks even more aesthetic than random colors we can't change. So I would use it all the time.
i think, is more better if u can make this apps using more battery % . is very usefull.. especialy if we using just for reding ebook. please..
I think it's a very useful app but in my Meizu MX5 doesn't work. It's possible that is a compatibility issue? Thanks.
Great app. Oh, and to the peoplewho can't remove the grayscale after 15%, then go to the setting and go to developer options, and change it there. If it is in grayscale, then change the option Simulate color displays from Monochromey to Disabled.
My phone isnt rooted, can anyone explain to me the no root workout thing there?
Works great, but really needs an option to either manually start B&W mode or change the battery percentage at which it automatically activates
The app works fine but the greyscale setting can be toggled on most devices through the developer settings making the app not so handy
I know I can change my settings in developer options, but it seems this app would benefit anyone that is overstimulated by their phone colors if there was a simple on-off toggle mode independent of the battery level.
Its ok for automation but those who want to use even wen da battery percentage is 100 or below, u can easily enter developer option scroll down and ajust "stimulate colour space" to monocromacy and done dats wat u want ☺
Hello Loves your app Hope to have some option like changing the battery % trigger point or some shortcut to force enable/disable monochrome Thanks Yeh
Now I have black and white screen even when I uninstalled monochrome and have battery about 80 % HELP. Edit: OK, the reset button should be next to the switch...
changin stars to 5 due to fast update about issues i had, thanks a lot !
I wish that I could set battery percent myself. It works depending on your devices default battery percent which is %15 but I could use my device with this grayscale mode with %90 I guess?
not sure about saving battery but it definitely works on a non-rooted device as it says.
I m not able to apply in nonrooted phone what should I do
I understand that you don't want the app to keep on monitoring the battery level, but can you at least include an always on mode (no matter what the battery percentage is)? Only then I'll reinstall it...
Happens way too often
I am using phone with IPS display.. so i doubt it.. Is it works for me or not?
Can we have the b/w mode in any battery percentage? It'd be awesome. Thanks :)
Is there a feature just to turn it on without the battery being low?
It really needs an option to enable the b/w manually
Perfectly works as described,.. (won't work with 'kitkat' sadly). But I love it :)
I will give 5 star if there is manual activation option
On Android 7.1
It doesn't work
It doesn't allow me to turn it on whenever i want, just when battery is low
Can you implement a quick settings toggle for android 7+? Would be much more convenient
Stuck even after uninstalling it
It should have a tasker broadcast like forcedoze
Needs a manual activation option.
great app, can you add the feature to manually turn it on?
Didn't seem to do anything
if the percentage could be increased then I'll give a 5 star
Please add a manual mode and this app will automatically be 5 stars
Верю прога хорошая... ну надо рут... это огромный минус! !!
Would love to see option to change %
If it's good enough for DJ Khaled, it's good enough for me!

Installed the app on my Infinix Note 2 LTE. Gave it root privileges. Worked perfectly when my battery hit 15%. Charged it. But on reaching 30%, it won't turn off. My phone is still in monochrome. I have tried putting it inactive via the main app, but still nothing. Even now, my phone is at 52% and charging, and while I'm typing this, it's still all in monochrome. Now, I've cleared its data, forces it to stop, uninstalled it, and rebooted my phone. And my phone is still in monochrome.
