Hi Michael, this app is great but, today it seems to not be logged in. Is the server for this down? I know you have a great app that is why I bought it for a year. I am leaving this on the review in hopes you will see it. As for the people who dont understand technology, The uber login is on the uber side not on the app. It is not a scam. Uber released the API's so third party venders could make great apps like this one. Michael keep up the good work.

Great for notifying you when there is a surge. But the historical data does not work anymore because the app no longer reports the accurate time.

This app is awesome, works best for me at airport now I know best times to hang out at airport and expect high demands.

S70%
by S####:

Nice scam. You have to give it your uber login info and then all it fors is error to a screen of garbage.

This app was working okay for about 2 weeks. After 2 weeks no more push notifications then uninstall and reinstall and does not fix it.

Why am I getting surge notifications when there is no surge? Also getting surges in the partner app when none are coming up in SC. I'm learning node.js & the Uber API for an unrelated project. I'm 99% sure this is Uber cooking the map, or cooking my results since I also have dev access. At any rate, if I can figure out how to get legit surge notifications you are welcome to some of my money. That's all that is stopping me. The app is really pretty great otherwise. Nice UI, very usable & clean (unlike some of the competitors). I just need accurate data, that's the only hiccup.

Lol, what is this crap? This idiot makes an app where there's no option to follow uberx. Who does that? Most people drive uberx you moron. Uninstalled right away. This crap is useless for uberx drivers.

S70%
by S####:

Great idea, but without an automatic log it is a mess of noifications and essentialy useless. I can see surges realtime through Uber app.

I really like this app, however it still crashes while trying to change notification settings rapidly, and I still wish there was a "continuously track my location" option like there is for some other apps. I also wish there could be folders of checkpoints that I can turn off so that they don't show up when I tap "check all surge points". (I have surge points all over the state of CA!)

Some of these negative reviews must be from drivers who want to keep this app to themselves! The developer is very quick to respond to bug reports sent within the app. There are a few clunky things about the interface and it has its share of bugs, but once those get resolved, this is an essential tool for any Uber driver. The monthly $5 subscription gives you push notifications when your chosen checkpoints are surging (pays for itself after one short fare) and allows you to view history and analyses of when they've surged in the past and export them to Excel. I love being able to figure out where the demand will be on a given day; if anything, my biggest complaint is that Uber doesn't do this for drivers as a free service. This app fills a crucial gap and I can't wait to see how it develops in the future.

WTF is wrong with you? This app sucks and I wouldn't pay a dime for it. Why do I have to click button at bottom to check surge? Why don't you just indicate the surge number on top or near checkpoint? The notification alerts don't seem to work, and the sounds available are lame and not loud enough. Michel, if you want to people to pay a monthly subscription for your app you need to contact me so I can help you get it right.

It WAS working great till today. The app crashed and then I was logged out and can't get back in. Somehow now I'm logged into my fiances account and can't log out because every time I try to it crashes the app. I'm very unhappy as MY account actually has several months already paid for and all my pins placed where I need them. Update: I finally logged in only to find all my preferences gone and all the data i've been collecting for all of my pinned locations over the last several weeks it's gone!

I have this application along with its Lyft cousin and a monthly subscriber. Well worth it in my opinion considering the amount of time they save me. If your workflow hasn't improved significantly because of these apps you're not using them the right way. Thanks Michael. Feel free to contact me if you need any feedback from an experienced user.

This works great but it's delayed by a few minutes. Would be better if it was real time like the rider app

S70%
by S####:

It's a decent app it would be much much better if it had a feature to display all of your surge checkpoints at once in a list rather than one by one

Almost useless without expensive "Premium" subscription. Good idea, but WAY to expensive for what it offers.

You guys speak of historical data... Where do you view the historical data at? I have to admit the app is pretty good thus far.

Went to sign in and the drop down menu when selecting your phone's country code doesnt scroll... so unless you live in Uganda, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom or United States... this app is useless to you and you cannot even sign in. Waste of time and download. Deleted from my phone within 2 minss of downloading *Reply to developer who sarcastically thanked me for not submitting a bug report... Maybe if you submitted a working app to the store, there wouldn't be a problem, but I'm not submitting a bug report for an app I cannot even get into. I'm deleting it and going to the next one. It's clear that you've just seen a hole in the market and have rushed this app to earn money from advertisement revenue. When things like drop down menus don't work, you know the app developer either A> Has no idea what he's doing or B> Doesn't care about the quality of the app and only cares about the revenue it brings.

Forces you to sign in to your Uber account. They spy on me enough already.

I think that if you add a 10sec live update option to the screen that lists all current surges that would make it much better. also Add an option to add our own ringtone rather than your 5 preselected. Other than that its great.

S70%
by S####:

What this could really use is launcher shortcut that creates I a notification spot wherever I happen to be so I have that looking out for me while I'm taking a break

S70%

Been using the app for a few months now, working perfectly and all of the sudden it has just stopped working. Well not completely, but you manually have to update all of the checkpoints in which isn't viable when your rolling down the road. It's not sending push notifications or sounding off anymore for the checkpoints. Wondering what I'm paying for? Would change my rating if it starts working here in Melbourne asap. Here we go again with glitches. Giving a 504 gateway error. Can't log in using uber.

S70%

Notifies me whenever it surges near my home so I can log on and just do the odd surge job without having to watch the screen all the time. Not sure if you can still do this with one checkpoint on the free version or none at all. A bit expensive at $7 per month and only worth it if I'm available to act on a surge when it comes up, eg, mostly working from home.

I am constantly finding myself lose money because this app is spotty and will fail to monitor the surge. I'll look at the surge history and it will say there was no surge, and I'll have no notification, but when I open the app, I'm in a 3-4x zone!!! COME ON!

L70%
by L####:

That is an useful app. But, I cannot see the Surge History, can I enable this feature? And, one more about history, can I export the data to .CSV format?

S70%
by S####:

Seems app reports false surges . Areas that rarely if ever surge are suddenly surging? I've monitored the heat map for Inland Empire prior to installing app, and surges are rare, (except late weekends). This makes me question the credibility of the information. Will monitor closely. Hopefully, I'm wrong.

damn!...the app is asking for uber user name and password. what is this...looks like new way to steal all the info...
