SurfEasy Secure Android VPN

Great app but they keep opening ads when I use other apps and sometimes its porn and I don't appreciate that cause what if my kids are using my phone or computer. Less ads and when you need to use ads, make sure they are appropriate for all ages and not pop up every few minutes. If they don't fix it, I will have to report it!

This is an initial rating I just downloaded it and so far so good, that being said, I have noticed a Decrease In speed. That being said you can earn data with a number of ways to earn it's fairly easy to turn the free version into unlimited data. With that said you can't beat the Opera's reputation and they don't log so. ALSO what they don't tell you, is as a free member, you get a data cap of 1.0 gb so don't waste the rewards once you reach 1 gig. The only way I found this out is they mention it once when you share with friends(and not getting more data) As long as I'm wrong about the speed it's a fantastic app doing what it promises

Easy setup for me. I like the setting to auto enable VPN on insecure WiFi networks. Nice to have an easy to use app interface across desktop and mobile. Free version has a data cap, but it's plenty for occasional use. You can watch an ad or two to get some more data allowance should you need it in a pinch. One star off for needing an account... Opera's VPN doesn't.

Best VPN advertisement ever... no but seriously the worst and I am quite knowledgeable in the field... I run my own private VPN servers on VPS contracts from good data centers $10/month basically unlimited bandwidth... you guys offer 500MB for trial? JOKE! Not to mention most background connections go unencrypted and IPV6 leaks + DNS sometimes leaks. Save your money best paid VPN for normal users is probably PIA. Tons for free here as well.

Found you on a cyber-security educational web site(Kimando) that highly recommend you along with several others.Decided to give you a try. Your app is by-far the easiest to download, set up, and activate. I usually avoid public Wi-Fi but no longer. I can now stretch my plan gigs riding "piggyback" at my favorite coffee shops knowing I'm secure from potential eavesdropping threats. Great job!

Bcoz of this app my Facebook account is blocked. Remember when u connect internet using this as a proxy do not use your Facebook. It will get lock. I went to Facebook bcoz this f**king app ask me to like their page. Now I regret. Uninstalling as soon as I am done writing this. F**king app

Surfeasy is not safe at all. It reminds me of a troll. It shows your IP address and then tells the user you are exposed. Nooo kidding....its the app that's doing it. Surfeasy, you market yourself to be a security app, why would there ever be need to show your users' IP. The feature to see that info is of the user to ensure it changes when it should. You are using fear tactics to sucker money from your users. It's low and dirty, so STOP IT NOW!!! So for now considered yourself uninstalled!

Definitely not the best VPN service. Their app can't keep a constant connection. Their support is terrible, I have been trying to reach them since Friday. I still haven't heard back. I wish I wouldn't have wasted my money on their bad service.

So far so good! I have been trying out a variety of VPN apps and SurfEasy's free version app works to my satisfaction! I am itching to buy the premium version and hope it doesn't let my expectations down.

Edited review to one star because "always on" mode is not supported on Android. I have seen data leakage on wifi as a result. Also, this probably means the Android version uses the obsolete and insecure PPTP protocol. Chrome version is okay. But the Android version I wouldn't trust worth a dime for use with public Wi-Fi.

Ok, Surf Easy is the only VPN I have used. Set up was a pleasure, simple no frustration at all. I have used several different countries to log in from and only a few of the websites would ask me if I wanted to have the website translated. It is easy to set up and run Literally. Less than 5 Minutes. I recommend it to everyone I am still in my first 24 hours of testing Surfeasy. Then I'll decide if I really really like it. And I am the best at really really liking something, there's no one better at really really liking something than me. I am the best.

I've been using this VPN service for more then 2 years. had my data limit refreshed every month for about 10 GB. recently, I realized that they have since changed this policy, and now my data has run out. sorry but I'm switching to another service provider. thanks for the two relatively good years. goodbye.

So far so good. Easy install. I'll just have to wait to see if I'm shut off the Google Fi Network for blocking all the open wifi connections. I really have had a great time using the Project Fi but I do have my concerns over the public connections and how are they selected to be "okay"

Amazing, totally would recommend. you've got something going what a one of a kind virtual private network application. I'd like to see your application do really well in the future. Definitely great for mobile security wish people would recognize some of these things allot more.

Just downloaded the Android version of the app. Install was a snap, and it set itself up seamlessly. After a few minutes of use, it seems to work well. I did notice some lagging when loading some webpages, and some slight "rubber banding" when vertical page scrolling, but all in all, very acceptable considering it's free security.

Was a great app. After update super slow speeds rebooted the phone reinstall still slow. Was told by support that they would refund 2 months, still haven't seen the refund going on 3 months now..

Very easy to use. Once it's configured you could almost forget it's there, but don't, because unless you have an unlimited data plan, you will run out of data fairly soon, even if you have taken advantage of the offers for free data.

Ever heard of a VPN user legend in folio administrator explaining why the VPN doesn't reach access to some site or some worldwide web corner? If not yet, SurfEasy makes it possible. Meanwhile I rate it 5 stars ... but I dunno why, just like everyone else does it I guess. Maybe it deserves 6 or 1 star. Time will say.

I opened my browser to watch a show in the US from the UK after changing location on surfeasy. However it is saying not available in my location. It was working with another vpn app, however as usual it stopped working after update, so I have changed to this one. But still cannot watch my favorite show. I'm frustrated.

Great app for protection, and great features. A good idea for all considering congress allowed companies to buy and sell your information more easily. Vpn's are needed more now than ever

Used to work alright on the PC but the compatibility issues still reside on the Android version for several years now (On different devices and networks). Poor connection speeds and constant crashes. This app needs an overhaul.

It's a OK app, that hides your ip and location. You start off with 500 MB of free data. Which means if you're on a data plan that 500 mb won't be on your data plan. That's like 500 mb of free porn time. They also have it set up where you can upgrade your data usage by doing free stuff, by liking their app or setting up your account. Lastly they have it set up where you can pay for a monthly unlimited access for 2.99 a month. Which is pretty damn good for a VPN like this.

Works fairly well. Just a pain to get some free data though. Just give us 500MB every month to start with and you will certainly have more happy users.

I am using this app for a while now.so far so good.i am running on free data gathered through various ways in the app.I was planning to upgrade to unlimited but i was wondering about something.Do you keep log or share info of your users?

Very impressed so far - the interface is easy to navigate, and I haven't run into any glitches. The speed is also great, hardly impacts on available bandwidth at all

Wakelock issue. It makes my phone stays up even though I am not turning the service on while the screen is off. My battery depleted fast. Waiting for a fix or I'm uninstalling. Using Galaxy Note 4.

So far i see I'm able to get free data usage by doing simple tasks. Not sure if that'll run out or not. About to find out.

So far so good ;) I was just in the process of setting up a new computer when I decided to try SurfEasy (and so naturally, the com was still downloading & installing Windows updates & drivers etc.), so I was unable to properly trial the app which has forced me to write this review.. lol. This app only works in portrait View. Meaning I have to Crane my head to use it on my tablet. The data for a free subscription never renews. Even if all you do is browse text based web pages, you will still run out eventually.

It's probably the best VPN on Android devices. The app gives certain amount of internet quota monthly so it's okay if you're not using it long enough. The only issue that I got is that everytime I turn it on and connected to certain countries, it will always shown that I'm connected to my own country, but I can still go online without any internet blocks from my country.

Slow and glitchey on my HTC Desire. I watched videos to get more MB but, after the video ended, it said something went wrong and gave me no rewards. Happened 3 times.

Excellent VPN, easy to use, most times I don't even know it's running. On the free version and it's awesome. Next month I'll try the paid one and see how that goes. OK, on the paid plan and it's awesome too, UNLIMMITED!!!

Recently it's been taking a long time to connect. Also switching countries takes even longer and sometimes I have to reset the app to be able to do so.

Its a good app,but its not free that's the only negative,any how we can get the full version for free in so many third party sites so instead of that they can provide the full unlimited version in play store itself @lAl@

Can't block the people from tracking without paid version even though you can get more data for referral but the main purpose of VPN is to stop tracking which this doesn't do unless you pay. Real VPN?

I tried connecting to JP region. Works for like a day. This app blew me off until it stopped connecting me to JP. Whenever I connect, it sends me to U.S server... Even when I selected JP. Fix it please.....
