This app is great! I really enjoy the various practicing options, especially the flashcards. It would be nice to have an option to test all the words at once, or to combine multiple categories in one test. No worries though. Looking forward to trying your other language apps. Keep up the awesome work!

Some people commenting about this app seem to be confused by how the time of day is translated. There is something called "Swahili Time." Because many Swahili speaking countries are near the equator, the day lasts 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. In Swahili time, 6:00 AM is known as 0:00, so then 7:00 AM is known as 1:00. This can be confusing at first, but using an analog watch or clock, it can be easier, as there is a difference of just 6 hours between local time and Swahili time, so when looking at a clock, Swahili time is just opposite of where the local time hour hand is pointing. Swahili time is clarified by adding "mchana," "asuhubi," etc. to further explain what time if day is being discussed.

An excellent tool to have while living in a Swahili speaking area. @Emily Buettemeier. Very good explanation except for one thing. 6am actually refers to the twelth hour of darkness. 6pm refers to the twelth hour of light. Therefore, 6am is translated: Saa kumi na mbili asubuhi. 6pm is Saa kumi na mbili jioni. Many speakers dropped the asubuhi and jioni when it was clear what part of the day they were referencing. The point: This is a very accurate app.

But i found a few errors that need correcting. After learning the numbers 1 thru 20, i went to learn the time and found it's not coinciding with what I learned numbers wise. It was giving wrong numbers in Swahili for the time. Instead of giving the word for one in Swahili it gave the word for seven...as an example. Other than that so far I like it.
