TAXI SHIFT CALCULATOR LOGGER

This App when installed on the mobile phone is an advanced Taxi Shift Data calculator, unique in the whole world. The taxi driver inputs shift start and end figures, shift expenses, card, voucher and cash transactions. The driver inputs income as well as expenses and sets the percentage of earning and cost sharing between the driver and the owner. This software is made for the owner-driver just as well as for the driver who hires the taxi vehicle from the owner. It does not matter what the exact owner-driver arrangement is, this Taxi Shift Calculator can deal with any owner-driver share income and expense scenario.
The Application uses a go-from-page- to-page-Wizard (the driver is not forced to use the wizard), starting to input the meter shift start up figures and continues to the end of the shift meter end figures. In the process other information is collected, such as which car, any not-metered fares, the amount of card, voucher and money transactions there were in the shift. It includes shift expenses such as toll charges. Determines if the toll charges are part of the metered takings or not and what the driver owner share of that responsibility is. It registers who collects the card transactions and then sets the balance in the final book.It also registers other shift expenses and sets the owner driver share arrangement.
The taxi software that receives the data from this mobile application, can be downloaded from Supremweb site http://www.supremweb.com and installed on the computer. Some of the software is free, what is not free is at a very low cost and there is always a 30 days trial if the taxi accounting software is not free.
The Taxi Shift Calculator Logger is currently free, and its use for data logging. However the user who wishes to do electronic logging will be prompted to create an account in the due course.
At the moment to hold an account is free but it may or it may not occur a small annual fee in the future, but our users would be advised in the due course. At the moment it is all free.
This application can be used as its own, but data can also be logged over the Internet. There are two ways of how data can be sent over the Internet:
1) The Shift data figures can be send as emails to the driver and the owner. There is no need for an email set up, as this is all done at the level of the application. This eliminates the paper work normally associated with ending a shift. The driver only needs to acknowledge the correctness of the shift data and clicks a button.
2) The Shift data figures can also be send to one of the Taxi Accounting Software applications made by Supremweb.
The are currently a number of Taxi Software applications for desktop computers, that allow taxi drivers and owners to manage their books and taxation. Currently this is the Taxi Accountant version 2 and the Taxi Fleet Manager version 4, designed for the whole world to accept data from this mobile phone android application.
The way it works is, the Taxi Accounting software automatically checks out if a driver has uploaded data. If so the user will be prompted to download this data. So there is no more paper work, logging is all done automatically over the Internet. Note that the user does not need to own any of these desktop apps for this Android Taxi Calculator to work, if he or she is happy to use this app to send emails books via their email or to use this Android app as a stand alone calculator.
This Taxi Shift Calculator Android App also uses an internal SQLite database and it stores all the closed shift information in the database's memory. Herewith the user is always able to view past shifts and monitor his performance, especially in regards to kilometer dollar efficiency, which is important when dealing with taxation matters. As from version 11 you can send the Past Shift Records to our Desktop applications using your Home or Office Wi-fi Network. You can copy all your past shifts with the click of a button.
