Busybox Checker

For a one-trick pony, this app is pretty piss-poor. For a start, the first thing it does is ask for for root permissions --even though the dev expressly states that it doesn't need them. Then, after you've denied it root access, it just sits there, displaying a blank white screen for about a minute before, e-v-e-n-t-u-a-l-l-y reporting back with the path/s to Busybox and Su.

It is detecting it (and SuperSU whose version it also correctly identified) as being in system/xbin. That used to be the default location for them but since Android 6, perhaps even later releases of Lollipop, more people are gaining root without touching the system (systemless root). Busybox (Stericson installed version) is now placed by default to su/xbin/ with another 3 locations including the system/xbin one available too. Does this app just look at the list of other apps installed to verify BB & SU?

I dont see why a search for busybox requires root.

This immediately confirmed that the Busybox Pro I installed is working properly. It did the job just like Root Checker did when I flashed SuperSU.
