Maki for Facebook & Twitter

Maki plus user here! This is a great app. Been referring this app to every friend using android. Just two small bugs though 1. When I open the app, its about 4 posts down the newsfeed instead of being at the top. Every time. 2. Notification badges never show up in the app unless refreshed in the notification page. Also an option to increase the hold time would be great, the pop up post keeps opening while swiping down the feed.

Great little app which seems to work alot better for me than the Facebook official app and I don't have to keep switching between top stories and most recent. Could do with an album update option for more than one image, also the map option needs updating as it's showing an error if you try and open in a different app

I got the app as a way to save storage space. However, two key issues: you cannot add more than one Instagram account. And you cannot access Instagram's DMs. I also had a minor problem with failing to get notifications about my Facebook friends list being updated. I really like the app but a few things need to be tweaked.

Day 3: It's been a few days and I still love Maki! Day 1: Switched from Metal to this today. So far I'm impressed, it is faster and video playback works better. The UI is slightly more sleek. I will update my review when I've had time to use it.

EDIT-review still stands. After the update I was sad to see there wasn't a GIF option for comments. I wish that after reading a post and I went back, that I didn't start at the beginning of the newsfeed. Otherwise, it's fine. Just don't expect to make video or phone calls.

Wow! I don't usually do this, but Make is a great, working and practical app. Thank you, developers. You have accomplished what you wanted to do. Just on a side note, on Facebook, when I want to react to a comment, it shoes the options and then almost immediately thereafter it says the whole copy, select all, ect. Pop up overplayed.

All great so far i thought till it came to replying on a comment. Unlike facebook app comment box for your reply doesn't appear above your keyboard and instead is hidden under so annoyingly you can't see what you put as typing till after you close or minimize keyboard so annoying!!! Wish this was tweaked and I'd of rated this app higher.

Love the app, except for trying to view SAVED page, constant load circle that runs (loops). Never get to see the page. [FIXED**trying to share memories. There isn't a post button anywhere on that page.]

Excellent. Switched over from Metal. - multiple colored themes to pick from - Instagram AND Twitter included, both working smooth - Notifications work well and with optional LED colors also - Uploads pictures, video, posts etc FAST - extra! Power saving mode (essentially mobile browser versions) My only complaint: no access to DMs on Instagram.

It app keep crashing either when you minimize the app and you about opening it bacj or once you close it after the first opening of the app during activating of my Facebook account...... The app is good but this problem make it the worst app I have use

Its pretty much what I need, Im not all the way in love whit the social media so I dont wanna waste a lot of space in apps that Im not going to use all the time so this app is just perfect for me ! Awesome job it works pretty good and doesnt crashed once since I instaled it recomended

Very good attempt, with some nice features, the ability to download videos is a good addition. Other than that it seems a bit 'clunky' compared to some other FB apps.' Gone back to Metal.

I am insulted by the developer's reply. I AM NOT A LIAR. Improvement requires feedback. Others ask for screenshots and more info, and I have spent time helping several developers with details. Your app doesn't always fit my phone's screen, but I see that I wasted my time offering a review to you. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Seems to have potential, but once in full screen it's impossible to get out of it. Worse, Settings vanished from the menu! Bizarre. Clearing the cache solved it, but this happens intermittently, too much to use full screen mode - and that's a deal breaker as otherwise the layout is dreadful; uninstalled.

Mand Seasons is right. And, I can offer some specific speculation in regards to their issue before 11/30/2017. The full screen mode's settings button, after pressing the hamburger icon is hidden behind the native navigation bar. Thus, "its dissapears". I'm a webdev kinda person so... Move the "settings" up in the table and or make the table's sections smaller (or if user changes text size via native phone's display settings) and this should correct. However, I'm not a app-dev person so I have no idea how to translate this to the dev team, sorry. However, maybe a free maki+ for the triggered liberal over there, yeah? Lol anyway, I CAN STILL click "settings", i just only have 10 or so pixels to do so above the nav bar, and below the higher table item, and, only in fullscreen is this a problem for me. So, it's definately there still, but kind of formatted out an such. I gave this a 4 stars! I still like using messenger lite, because of cache. This is an excellent app. I seriously forget that it's a web app it's so quick and smooth. If you made it to the end of this and reply, it'll be 5 stars for sure! Thank you so much!

I've been using metal pro for a long time, but it's so clunky and glitchy I set out looking for an alternative. Here we are.. This app runs so smooth, I haven't used it expensively yet, but it seems great so far. I paid for the pro version.

This is Facebook and Instagram exactly the way I want them. I see the things that are most important to me. I see the most recent posts from the people who matter most. You really have to actually use Maki, because words cannot do it justice. But once you do, you'll say "At last!"

Could be better by actually loading videos; currently the app won't load videos for me when I click on them. Good alternative to the 3Gb of space that Instagram and Facebook took up on my phone, hence the 4 stars, but I'm sure there are other apps out there capable of doing the same thing while also being able to load videos. Also, the AMOLED theme is off just a bit, it hides buttons.

Faster than the Facebook app for scrolling, though loading takes as bit longer. It's lighter on battery and data usage. Only a couple gripes: dark mode doesn't have enough definition between read and new notifications, no way to turn off notifications for only like and reacts while leaving them on for comments and replies, no option to gif comment (might be a limitation due to being a Facebook wrapper like Metal, which is what I'm assuming Maki is), and no way to batch add pictures to upload, they have to be added to the post individually which can be annoying if posting a large number of images. Aside from those complaints, definitely a great app.

After the recent update, I can't see what I'm typing in the app, either in comments, status or private messages. I try to scroll up but it doesn't let me. So I am.looking for another app until that is fixed.

Well, I'm on free version, and it's good. I'd love to see 2 things, a way to disable quick view on long press, and see Instagram direct message. Please let me know if these features are in the paid one, i'd love to pay. Awesome work, cheer

I've use almost all the facebook alternatives on the market. This is the fastest facebook wrapper I've ever used so far. I have no experience any bug yet. To the developer: It would be perfect if you add the popup chat head like the official facebook messenger app. I see some of the facebook wrapper can already do this.

I can do anything on this 1 app that I did on both Facebook and Messenger & even more but it uses so much less space.

I would love to use this app for my fb, twitter and instagram accoubts but it doesnt update my feeds realtime when i try to refresh it. Also twitter and instagram doesnt go AMOLED. I love dark backgrounds!!!

The only thing missing is the gif support. ***Revised*** three days later I am seeing the bugs here. The app has crashed several times now. Can not watch any videos on Facebook, Twitter rarely loads. Having tones of buyers remorse.

Claims to include Twitter and Instagram, but it doesn't give you the option to only use the app for Twitter or Instagram. You have to log into a Facebook account. Uninstall.

It's Awesome apps I love this app and his features and themes are so lovly but this some slow than Fb apps and other you can make better and upgrade some features please and everything is fine

Absolutely love this App! Facebook, Twitter and Instagram all in one App ???? The App is fast and efficient and allows you to switch effortlessly between the three. I have been looking for a App like this for ages! Congratulations to the developers, excellent App which i highly recommend.

Cette applis me plais vraiment mais ça serait vraiment cool de mettre la barre de recherche dans la page de démarrage de Facebook, afin de directement rechercher les groupes/amis, en plus de gérer les notifications de chaque réseau social séparément

It is currently not possible to share a fb post in a private message to a group conversation. Can you add this fearure please ?

This app is a great alternative for all my social media accounts. I got everything all in one place. Thank you.

I like it, my battery lasts longer now that I don't use the FB official app, the only issue I have is that I cannot view the fullsize photos or download them, if I open a photo in the browser I get the message "Invalid URL signature"

Had to drop out of beta, too see if my issues were beta related, but still the same, cannot post to any one in my favourites, and when trying to use status update, adding a pic and press preview , it does nothing, and after a while any home screen short cut just takes you back to the newsfeed, though they did work at the start.. conclusion is it's hard to post an image..

So far it seems to be very good. Best alternative to Facebook I've found thus far... Kudos!

Nice replacement for bloated Facebook app. Better than the web but lacks the ability to zoom!!

Like the app so far but in the screenshots provided there's options to add backgrounds to status updates but I can't seem to find it in the app. How do I use it?

Great substitute for the bloated Facebook at app. I don't use Twitter or anything of that so can't comment on that but it serves MY purpose..

Es mejor que la original porque tiene un excelente diseño y ahorra batería. Desinstalé la original por el consumo de batería y esta es genial en eso.

Tiene algunos bugs, como el que se pierde la parte de configuraciones debido a que se pone la barra de botones predeterminado de mi Moto G4, y la mensajería de la app no permite llamar, de ahí en más todo bien.

Tried it for five minutes. No most recent option for feed. That's a problem.

Everything is ok but the video is automatically rotating land scape and touch output is not proper as other fb apps kindly fix it
