Easy mobile access to the largest online portal for monitoring, managing and presenting PV systems is now available for smartphones with the free Sunny Portal App.

System Log for Ensuring Yields
You can access the event history of the system with user or admin rights. This keeps you well-informed wherever you are.
For example: In the case the plant detects a blackout you can contact the plant operator with a few fingertips via telephone. You can then verify if this is only a fuse that blew or if you need to organize that the service personnel has a look at the situation on the site.

This is an iconic example of how NOT to make an app. There is ZERO real-time information which COMPLETELY DEFEATS the purpose of having an app in the first place! The iOS version at least has real time data. PLEASE fix this using some UI design from THIS DECADE because it looks like a Web page designed in 1999. SMA should be ashamed of themselves for this contemptible insult that they pass off as an app. DISGRACEFUL.

The app is only able to show daily generation and consumption data. Still needs to be update below features. 1) live generation status like IOS version. 2) all types of log. 3) data showing in Sunny Explore like all AC details, all DC details, various Fault. After all this upgradation then only this app helps to Installers, Plant operator and User. Needs these update ASAP.

Needs some info available to help new users. Only discovered by accident how to get real time data. Click on circular display. It will enlarge, then rotate phone to landscape position. Will slow realtime figures if phone is set to allow rotation of display.

Am I missing something? I don't see where the current production is???? I can go on to the website and see current production but the app doesn't show it. This is pretty useless. Much better info on the website. And the screenshots they have in the description are way off.

Can't even log into my inverter. Used to run desktop software but now will not run on Windows 10. The app is as good as the pc software I.e. not working. SMA need to update!!!

It's not real time however it's great to be able to check what our system produced at the end of the day with a simple check with this app. If you need real time then login to sunny portal web or use the desktop app.

Although I appreciate having a thing on my phone that lets me quickly access my PV installation, the lack of any real-time power generation output is a bit of a deal-killer for me. The one measurement I'm most interested in ("Current Power" on the SunnyPortal website) is not provided in the Android app, so I can never spot-check to see how my panels are reacting to changing weather conditions. If they would fix this, I would certainly bump this review up by 1 or 2 stars.

Don't believe that you'll see all that they show in the pictures and promises for this app. Extremely limited in what it shows. Apple app seems to have had more attention but is also very limited. Very sad and disappointing from a company at the forefront of solar tech. Step up your game in the app and support department SMA.

Where is the realtime data. I can get this crap from the sunrun app. I spent money on this Web connect module to be able to see real data generated from my SMA Inverter. I wasted my money apparently. I have a meter on the side of my house that tells me I generated 38kw yesterday.
