my Sun Life (Canada) for Android
Tried to add new provider for benefits but postal code cannot be added. Please fix bug for pixel phones
It crashes right at login... when the fix is expected? It's been over a month since I reported it!
Great idea, but when trying to start a claim for medical it will not let me add a postal code past 2 characters long if that.
Crashes every time I attempt to login in on my Pixel.
Can not login the app using google pixel. Useless
Just filed a claim for my wife's glasses in just under 3 minutes without hassle. That included navigating to see what was covered first before starting the actual claim process.
I haven't been able to log into this app for over 2 months. As soon as I put on my login information it says app has to restart. Fix it please.
The updated app is so much better to look at and use than the old one! Love it.
Constantly crashes after log in attempts. Have not been able to log in a single time!!!
It's a little slow to move between screens but much better than the app I stopped using a few years ago.
Impossible to type postal code for Provider when submitting claim
Sucks doesn't have the important functions you get from the site
I would like to know if my plancovers a portion of a CPAP machine but cannot find a category to look under
The features are very much the same as on the desktop, very accessible to submit at any point in time. It's really gotten better, thanks for the upgrades.
Very easy to install and use. It is so simple to submit claims and to be able to take photos of the receipts/scripts is so easy and convenient. I recommend this app for sunlife benefits.
App didn't offer possibility to change language to French!
I have found it easy to submit claims. I had some issues with this app earlier, but they have mostly been solved. Responses from staff was quick. A previous version had issues with entering postal codes for new providers. I have not tested this feature sine the last update to see if it was fixed.
Very poorly written mobile application. Must have been commissioned in to production withoit proper QA, i cannot even type postal code in android 7. And theres no list of O/S being supported.
Use this app for submitting and managing benefits from my employer. The app is extremely hard to navigate and work with compared to the previous benefit manager's app. Glad it saves my employer money by discouraging employees from filing benefit claims.
App continuously crashes immediately after login. I've tried clearing the cache, and reinstalling but still no dice. Provided feedback on the app but don't know if any further information is required. Also, I can log in through the website so I know I'm using the correct login information.
To subit a claim on my phone was the most ridiculous process ever. The calendar button to put the date of my claims did not come up until i tried at least 20 times....ridiculous. Great wests site was much better than this
it is never allowing me to login.always getting crashed when tried to login.... hope this problem is with samsung galaxy s6 phones i belive.. tried from other mobile it was working....
This latest release is so buggy that the app crashed when trying to login. Uninstall and reinstall doesn't solve the problem. I'm surprised it's been over a week but still no update to fix this fundamental problem. I'm running android N on Nexus 6P.
I just changed my phone to an LG stylo 3 pro and have reinstalled this app several times, cleared cache, cleared data, forced stop and played with permissions but does not open, the login information is correct because I can log in online on the computer with no problem... It would be nice if someone can assist me with this issue....
So far so good. I have been able to use it to submit alot of my claims. I had issues at the beginning but it is working well now and so I can't complain. Thanks
Key features are completely broken on my device. Can't enter postal codes; after entering a third character, it clears the first 2 characters. It won't even let me paste a postal code that I had entered in an app that works and copied into the clipboard. I tried to use provider search, but I can ONLY search for providers near me. Limits results to closest 60 so there is absolutely no way to look up a provider a couple cities over. Very bizarre design.
It's too bad its missing a feature to claim any unpaid balance to the HSA. I can only either claim it all to the plan or all to HSA not both. Unless I am missing something, back to paper claims and photocopies
The app does not allow you to enter a postal code when adding a new provider. There is only space for 2 characters. End up having to submit a claim from my PC. Not convenient.
This App is straight forward and easy to use. Making claims is easy, just follow the prompts. (you may need to turn off your spell checker to add a postal code). It's easy to add a service/care provider. I like the ability to photograph or scan documents. Much faster and simpler than sending things in by paper.
This app crashes when you try to log in. I've tried to uninstall the app and reinstall it, I still have the same issue. Not sure what how to fix it. It's been 2 days.
For a big company the app is still not great. Having to enter the HCSA is not very efficient. The app says that an amount is not covered and do you want to go to HCSA. Then you have to re-enter everything without knowing the amount not covered by plan.
Keeps crashing which means I cannot submit claims that require the submission of documents. It is 2017 and this app might as well be on an AOL disk!
Used to be great now crashes non stop. It's basically useless. Happening on a few devices as well.
Tried installing and removing a bunch of times. App crashes each time I login. Used to work fine.
Had to coax the program to let me enter a postal code. It kept switching the keyboard to a num pad but not letting me put more than two characters into the field.
Piece of junk won't allow you to add a postal code in when submitting a claim. Looks like more ways for insurance companies to make submitting claims harder on purpose.
Crashing on login for me as well. Can you roll back to the version a month ago?
App crashes when logging in. Been more than a month already and no fix yet?
Really useful once I figured out how to login. Submit claims on the fly is awesome.

I have version 5.1.6 installed on a Samsung Galaxy S8+. The primary reason I installed it was to submit claims; however, there is no "Submit Claim" option on the Benefits page, how can I do this? Aside from that, the app is awkward and as a result not well designed or fully thought out.
