Does it with no bloat and smart too. Not sure how to change TTS engine or where it saves alarms to but these are Android-specific queries and I'll sort these out.

After ICS 4.0.4 nothing works!

I found that some words had to be spelt out phonetically or spaces added to get it to sound right. As I wanted a Ding-Dong then the name, I found although the ring-tones are marked and play as .Mp3s, they are .pcm files so can not be edited by MP3 editing programs. This is easily solved by using 'Free Convert MP3.exe, (windows prog that will run in Wine if like me you use Linux) change the file extension to PCM and it will then change the file to a Mp3 that can be edited in the likes of Audacity. Very good
