Camu - Camera for perfect pics

Thank you for your effort for creating such a wonderfull camera app! This app deserves a 5 star but I gave a 4 star only because of a feature I miss the most amd then is capture with volume button. You know nowadays all phones are large in size and it's very hard to touch the capture button with one hand while taking selfies. Otherwise keep up the good work!

Amazing camera! My phone is Zenfone 4.5, its camera is not good at all, the color is faint. And Camu helped my photos became more colorful! But personally, I think the old version is better than this one now, about the SHARP of photo. So I hope you will have a new version that have improved this mistake :) Thanks for all, love ya, love Camu :x

I love your app. It's easy-to-use and minimalistic. Filters are great. But on this phone (Alcatel Idol3) I have one problem: sometimes app save only a half of photo, this happened to me several times and I don't want lose shoots. Or make autosave mode or function.

There are still things to improve like the permanent tag on thr pictures so we don't have to manually put a tag every time i want to save a photo. Also once we exit the app and open it again, thr default filter that we use will the same filter so we don't have to do it again and again. Also touch the screen to capture will be a big help.

When I take a picture and save it, most of them overlap and get saved repeatedly and some of them don't get saved a lot. The app is great in terms of the filters but I've lost some of the nicest photographs I took because they didn't get saved, and other pictures got saved repeatedly instead of them. Please work on this asap

I was using camu in my S3, but I just got a new phone and downloaded it and I'm dissapointed that the function that let's me control the contrast is not there. Please bring it back. Would definitely give it a 5 star if you would. Pleaseee

For a beginner like me, this app can produce really good photos. The extra filters' cost is minimal compared to the overall value of the app. I second one of the reviewers' comments about the inability to change the location of the photo storage. It'd be nice if the feature can be added in the future.

I recommend this app to all Sony Xperia Z3 users! The soft skin problem with the Z3 camera will be fixed here. I love it so much. But please add 16:9 aspect ratio? Please please? Thank you

I really enjoyed using Camu. Beautiful Minimal UI. The only drawback was that the filters had to be purchased. I hope more editing effects will be added like mirror, no crop blur and so on.

I may actually use the camera now. The stock camera app on galaxy s4 is quite bad. The difference is noticeable. Camu has shut down once, but otherwise very responsive compared to Samsung. Thanks.

Usually I'm a pessimist about this kind of apps, but this time, I have to say that this app rocks. So good and I'm so satisfied. I love the Lux filter. Its great and simple to adjust and also gives you high quality results. Thanks for sharing the app! I recommend it!

Great app, the colours on the camera are more vibrant than the stock camera, and I love the filters. However I dislike that the photos are not stored in the default camera folder. Please fix this or create an option to select the default folder where photos should be saved.

But the problem is in video stupid video And u hope make all filters free for five stars !

Otherwise this app is AMAZING. The lux filter adjustment is fantastic. Upping the lux one or two values makes all the difference honestly. Please fix the issue with the Nexus 6 front camera though!

Best Camera Software I have come across. Only Cons is you need to purchase effects, while some are in-built.

I have all the filters and it's really time consuming to pick the one I want. I usually take pictures in a rush so that's a big problem. I have a few favorite filters that I use 90% of the time so it would be awesome if I could put these before every other one (add a favorites section). There are also some filters that I really don't like and I wish I could hide those in order to make finding the ones I like easier. BTW, shooting a video with a filter only shoots 1 frame per second -.- Also, NO UPDATES

Things lacking: 1)File name using exif as yyyymmddhhmmss. 2)Option for linear blur along with the radial blur. Thank you. I'd 5 star it then.

I love this application especially the video filter. But unfortunately my video result play really slow like slow motion ver ? Please fix it

Really like it – but the video ist flipped upside down on Google's Nexus 5X. This is a common problem with the (old) Android camera API.

I want a refund immediately! I can't record video, its so laggy. Really don't waste your money in this crap!

Like seriously im one the Htc one mini (m4) i know its old and the camera is not great , like its good but not that much , however now with camu my friends thinks i have a pro camera

App isn't working on Note 4 :( All I see is a black screen when I open the app.

If you're a self centered hipster who only cares about using photo effects to make yourself look better on twitter or Facebook then you'll probably love this app. Myself, I can't stand the lack of options and am only using it because my crappy phone won't record video with other camera apps. I suppose this app is okay as a last resort.

Only app with simple design and better image quality than any other camera application. Reduce blurry effect. Must have it

I like my cm12 stock camera much better, however the stock cm12 camera freezes once you record video. Every other camera I tried, was the same thing. This camera actually let's me record video.

Hey I really like your camera app. However, the orientation in the Nexus's rear camera is "reverse landscape" causing the app to flip the image upside down.

A good app, the only drawback is to purchase effects. Otherwise perfect in entirety! My next substitute to Retrica ♡

Can u plss fix this on my device samsung galaxy s duos 2. When i take a pic. Cant see it on the screen its all black. Only the picture appears after taking

I liked how this app deepens the color of image. Its really beautiful. The app is also simple and unique in its own ways. But I hope the next update will include more customization like different image ratios or to edit saved pictures function. Best camera app so far but need more customization. Cheerio!

I used it a bit and I think this might be a good app... at least for those who can use it. In fact, one of its main features (putting text on the top of photos) simply doesn't work. Maybe the fact of using SwiftKey is the reason, but it's a fairly widespread keyboard replacement. What's more, shooting photos is quite slow, probably due to the real-time application of filters. Last but not least, there's no option on where to save photos, which make it very impractical.

After discovering camu i thought this will be the last camera app in my quest of best camera apps,loved every feature,pice came beautiful but when i take a look at pictures in gallery they look some what pixelated, there are no detail's, tried setting quality to high,but still the same result..Devs please look into this matter as this app will be neat and perfect if you sort that out.

It's a great cam app. Lots of filters and default mode works very well. In normal cam mode the screen turns black for a while and returns, must be a shutter lag. Kindly fix in the future updates and I'll make it 5 stars. Cheers

Until recently I've been using this cam app as my default app on Note 3. But have since switched to the Nexus 6P and would like to still use this but the problem is that the front facing camera is upside down?? Tried restarting phone etc

Its a great camera, The best feature is ux . increasing it makes pictures look really great with saturation and contrast. even the dullest camera can be improved using this app. but it requires alot of optimisation . the App is slugish and takes time focusing even in the high end phones, improve these things and this is probably the best App

Doesn't actually take any photos or needs some kind of special knowledge to be able to take a pic?

I like it, however one problem that needs to be worked on is the video recording. For some reason, no matter if using front or back camera, the video quality is horrid. All chopped, buffered, out of play, and skipped. Please fix, and will rate 5 stars.

Easy to use & excellent image processing on my HTC desire 816, little bit better than Google camera app.

The app is last updated on 2 march 2015 ...there are lots of bugs in this app but developer has still not fixed that bugs ...the developer actually don't care about the reviews and the people downloading the app

Simply amazing! Geniuses thought this up. Very impressive. But you can't import photos that were taken with Camu and edit them in this app and there is also no way to turn off the shutter sound. These are two huge draw backs that I look for in camera apps.
