Summer Link for Android
Took 10 minutes to set up and now it cannot connect to server. It's such a crappy app and everyone else having a problem let's me know is not just my system. Please Summer, address this issue. For such an expensive electronic, you would think some money would be invested in this app, which a lot of us purchased for this feature.
Don't buy this monitor even if it's on sale. It doesn't work no matter how many times I restart it. It says it's offline all the time even though the WiFi is on and working. If you value the life of your child, don't trust this monitor.
I have had this monitor for 2 years and it has said upgrades coming the whole time. Never happened. I have 2 kids and the monitors have to be three feet apart so they don't lose signal. I have to have two monitors or I can't watch my children at the same time (wish I knew that before purchase). Even with replaced pieces and the monitors apart I constantly hear clicking noises of the monitor losing its signal. wifi feature fails constantly too. I own $400 worth of junk. I cant even log in now. PoS
I'm only giving 1 star because I can't do 0. After having worked fine in the initial setup now it says there is no internet connection (yes there is, how else would I be leaving this). $200 wasted. Fortunately I know how to setup a $50 webcam that will do the exact same job.
I am surly glad i dont REALLY need this for HELP..This darn thing PICTURE IMAGE is a FRIGHTEN SIGHT.my video on. my cell is WAY BETTER . i cant belive they selling it for $149.00 really noighing like the view on the box..keeps drop connection.. This is a really crappie...The kids can play with it. I try everthing they said its just CRAP
Love the idea, and when it first came out it was great but with all the other options out there now, just do a little research and find the best one for you. This is most likely not it. And their customer service and troubleshooting are non existant. Its like they made a product that was designed to piss you off soooo much just for fun....
Went through 2 of these, and both times it says device MAC and key do not match our records. Looks like lots of other people had bad experiences too. Do you guys even do quality control before you release a product?
A complete waste of time and money. This app does not work. I spent hours resetting the device to get it to work on one phone. The monitor it came with is fine, but the internet functionality needs a lot of work.
I don't write reviews unless I love or hate something. In this case, I hate it. The app doesn't connect well to wifi or to 4g. It's buggy. Quality of the feed is terrible. PLEASE make it better or I'm going to return it.
Got this as a Baby shower gift, super excited about it and set it up WAY before we needed it. Now we are trying to use it and the app doesn't work. All it says is that there is no internet connection. Lost my internet connection? then I guess this review won't make it to the Play store and you won't end up with another 1 star review. Would honestly give it 0 stars if I could.

Completely worthless. App says to sign into account but then goes directly to the scanner. Ive already registered the damn camera but it insists I do it again and then tells me it is unable, gives me a 1-800 number. Assholes want proof of purchase, it was a baby shower gift.
Connected and worked right off the bat. I thought it was great, until I could not connect to my cameras remotely after one time. Changed no settings and had the same connections on both ends at camera and phone. Would be great if it worked more than once......
I've had this monitor for about a year. The app started off ok, would work sometimes without WiFi connection and sometimes it wouldn't. Within the past month or so, I can never seem to open the app. I always get some sort of error message and it will NOT work without WiFi connection. Not sure why it won't pull from my phone data, but it really is a pain and it's not worth the extra money spent. Get a basic video monitor and you'll have the same thing that you get with this one.
Don't get this app and waste your time. Does not connect and if it does its not for more then 5 minutes. You guys have terrible customer service and when is the newest upgrade coming like you were saying last year. I hate you summer and seems like everyone under me does as well.
Easily the worst app I have ever used. Took hours and 5 different devices before the terrible setup process actually worked. Then I open the app to find it is hilarious, like they set out to make the least competent app they could. 5 stars on that. And now it doesn't even work at all, please do not outsource app creation to grade schoolers for your $300 cameras. Pathetic.

There are alot of issues with this app. I have problems viewing from home wi-fi and can not view at all on 3G or 4G. Called Summer numerous times and the techs have contradicted each other and have blamed everything from home network to phone and refuse to acknowledge that their app is flawed. Have deleted and re-downloaded more times then I can remember. They claim that all of the bugs have been worked out, so I guess their develpers do not check these reviews. Still not working correctly
Judging from the comments I am not the only thoroughly disappointed customer. We had to buy a new system from a different company. What is going on? Did you go out of business? Are you ever coming back online? The least you could have done was warn your users.
This app is totally crap which is sad BC it's probably the reason why most ppl go with this product. Always have to uninstall and reinstall, reset camera or says email/password doesn't match. So frustrating. Seriously fix something already.
Every update gets worse. Turn off updating on this. Current version does not connect. . .The pervious updates have a far less attract appearance and no longer supports video recording. If you need Android developers reply back...I'll help.
App used to work fine before the update. Since the update, it takes much longer to load now. Most of the time it just loads a black screen. And when it does load, it won't stay connected for longer than 1 minute before the message pops up that it's been interrupted.
The app is useless. I have the highest speed WiFi I can get and the picture is terrible - through my phone and PC. The app constantly says it is not connected, when my phone itself has no issues connecting to the WiFi and the camera is in good range as well. The pictures on the box for the app and Internet viewing are a lie and false advertising. We paid so much more for a WiFi camera and it turned out to be a complete waste of money. I feel this is nothing short of theft by this company.
So frustrating! It used to work... now not at all for wifi. Keeps saying cant find my home wifi even though I followed all the steps. Thanks for having parents spend more money thinking they can check on their child from their phone and then NOT WORK
I am an IT professional, and between all the undocumented requirements ( e.g. no 5G support) and their incompetent tech support, I have spent over 3hours on the phone with them trying to get my phone to work with their camera. I have given up and will be returning for other product.
When we got this camera and app in October of 2015 it had troubles. Now it does not work at all. Just says it has trouble connecting. I kept hoping they would fix it seeing that most people rate it 1 star for the same reason. Don't buy this app or another product by this company. They do not address their issues.
This used to be a good app. I've had it installed for 8 months with no issues. Then it got updated, and nothing works properly. Since the update, there's a terrible lag that wasn't there before. About half the time when I connect, it's just a black screen. And when I do get video feed, I often lose it within minutes for no reason whatsoever. Absolutely horrid, and should really undo this latest update
Love this app. I had no trouble setting up or using it and I have minimal IT knowledge. My older child cracked the monitor screen (hit it with a hammer), so I have to use the app to control the camera. Works perfect for me. I've used on both a Galaxy s4 and s5 with absolutely no trouble.
Works great with the included handheld monitor but now the camera keeps losing connection after about 1 minute. The main reason I got this is because I'm out of town a lot and I wanted to check up on my newborn son when I wanted to, but now the camera losing connection all the time and I've even deleted and re-added the camera no fix. Spent a lot of money on this and would just like it to work as advertised and that'd be great. Lowered from 5 stars for recent issues, will give 5 stars again once fixed.
App worked fine the first time, now that i actually want to use it, it doesn't work..... every time i try to log in gives me "wrong user name or password" reset password same thing happens. For how much this camera cost me you would think the app would work. I would like to suggest firing the retards that developed and those who are working on this app, then start over!!!!!!!
I hate this product, the app and the company that made them. I hate it with every fiber of my being. It never works, and when it does work, it sucks. This monitor will drain the life and will to live from your body. Stay away and buy Samsung, motorola or the off brand at your local store. Summer I hate you!
This used to be so amazing. Whatever they did with the last update, they completely killed the app. It says my internet connection is not available, please verify it, once I've verified it's connected to retry. It's very much connected to the Internet. I've tried at my house with my WiFi, and while at work. Same issue regardless. Please fix.
Oh I know - it SAYS that it does, and that's why you bought it. But it basically doesn't work. I set the camera and app up, and honestly the setup was fine. But after the first time it needs to get fixed every time I've tried it. And it's weird, wonky stuff like claiming that I've lost my Internet connection so I can't even log in. This app is not good, and I really, really doubt they will fix it.
I love this app because I can check on my baby boy while at work using my mobile network. While at home I can use my Wi-Fi network to check on him with my phone. Recently the app wasn't letting me login with my phone though. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and note I'm back in business!
I got this camera for my baby shower a couple of months ago. Finally after the baby is born we want to put her in her own room. Tried setting this junk up doesn't even recognize the camera. Can't register it apparently. Called the stupid help desk no-one is answering. This is ridiculous. How is this company even in business.
The program worked fine for us. It was a little glitchy and would randomly reset on occasion. But it worked. The recent update about 2 weeks ago now causes the app to lose video connection even while on strong wifi and cell service after less than a minute. The app that was glitchy before is now completely useless. What was the point of buying a wifi capable camera if you can't use it....
I bought this monitor so that I could watch my LO from work on my phone. So far, I cannot get the app to connect the camera and the wifi... just keeps saying, "Camera did not find your Home Wifi." Both the camera and my phone are sitting right next to the router. I've tried multiple times, I've tried installing and uninstalling and reinstalling - no luck. Please fix this.
This app and monitor has been the worst. It almost NEVER works the way it should. I wish I exchanged this for something else when I got it as a baby shower gift. It's been a true nightmare trying to work it and the customer service is extremely poor.

Never works online. It will not let me open the app. It says no wifi connection, but the lights on the monitor indicates there is wifi. Have had nothing but issues with this app for over 6 months now.
