Sudo PicRemove allows you to painlessly clear old pictures that are just sitting on your device taking up space. Photo management is hassle-free: once you reach a certain threshold, the app will let you know it's time to clean things out. Once you clean up, images go to a trash bin for temporary holding where you can rescue any pictures that you want to keep on the device.

Note: make sure your photos are being backed up properly before using this app!! If they are not being backed up to another location (Dropbox, Google+, your computer, etc.), then you WILL lose your photos once the app empties the trash. I went from a 32GB Samsung S4 to a 16GB nexus 5, which caused a number of problems due to limited space for photos. Let's face it I take a lot of pictures and never delete them. When my phone started to slow down I would have to download a separate app to delete the photos off my phone(Google photos deletes photos from all your devices). It was very time consuming! The SUDO PicRemover is fantastic! I set it for every 30 days and it deletes the photos off my phone leaving the backed up ones alone!

With my pictures automatically uploading to Dropbox and Google+, it's not really necessary to keep thousands of them on my phone and this app makes it easy to manage that process.

All my photos are backed up at full resolution on g+ so no need to keep them local. This is saving so much time.

I use the external SD card for photos, because I take a lot of them. Android, sadly, does not let third party apps delete pictures from the external SD, so what kept happening was that the app kept moving copies from the ext SD to the phone memory. after a while I had full storage, and could not add anything. only uninstalling helped. so even if this program has good intentions, it actually Added pictures to my device instead. not add intended I'm sure.
