포방터시장

포방터시장에는 총 63개의 점포가 영업중이며 2014년 3월에 전통시장 인정을 받았습니다.

포방터 지명의 유래는 임진왜란이 끝나고 인조 재위 기간에

오군영이 오위(五衛)로 개편한 다섯 군영으로 오영문이라고도 하며,

훈련도감, 어영청, 총융청, 금위영, 수어청을 이르는데, 훈련도감, 어영청,

금위영은 도성을 직접 방어하는 중앙 군영이며, 총융청, 수어청은

서울의 외곽을 방어하며 포 훈련을 했던 곳이고,

6.25 전쟁당시 퇴각하는 북한군을 공격하기 위해 포를 설치했던

곳이라 해서 이름 붙여 졌습니다.
