• reflow handwritten text with the insert space tool
• insert bookmarks and label them with handwriting
• create handwritten links to bookmarks and websites
• save clippings for easy pasting into any document
• insert images into documents
• cut, copy, paste, scale, and rotate selections
• unlimited undo/redo jog dial
• pressure sensitive drawing on devices with an active stylus
• customize and save pens
• customize page size, color, and ruling
• pages can grow automatically when writing nears edge
• HTML/SVG document format viewable in any modern web browser
• PDF export
• organize documents with folders (and subfolders!)

So sad this hasn't been updated since 2014.. wish there was an alternative to Squid : This beta is missing Spen button remapping which is available in the stable write app. Please make a paid version of this app if you have to, I use it daily and it's the best Spen note writing app hands down.

It is by far the best note taking app, believe me. It is fast, customizable, smooth, scalable, etc. 2 additional features would make this not only the best, but also the perfect note taking app. 1: keyboard shortcuts like on the desktop version and 2: some kind of thumbnail preview scrollview, like some pdf viewer app have. If your file is already at 100 pages, you may want to browse it with previewing the pages e.g. in order to edit something quickly from 20 pages ago

Best freehand notetaking app around. Available on Android, PC, Mac, and Linux. Notes are also viewable on any webbrowser. Use Dropsync to sync. Perfect SPen integration. Bravo!

Still quite behind most other handwriting apps in terms of design but excels in functionality. The beta has many improvements over the stable release, but I can't help but miss the "zoom to page width" function in the stable release. Its removal is noticeable and makes it difficult for me to switch from the stable release to the beta as the lack of this feature interrupts my work flow with unnecessary scrolling.

I really like this app's ability to let you quickly and easily insert space in a document to fit in additional notes. Most apps in this category require laborious selection and move of existing content and do not move other content out of the way to accommodate moved material. Unfortunately, in all other ways, the application does not appear to be under active development anymore and is significantly behind the competition. I need better integration with other applications (Evernote in particular) so have had to move on.

SNote & Write-like, but much practical and paper-like given the options; local and UI's index folio movements to arrange notes adds a mature nature to this. An upgrade might mean adding exporting/converting, but why complicate things! This app succeeds in privacy where every note app I've previously downloaded - fails. Before I ditch all else for parchment - this app certainly hinders nicely that alternative. Note2/3/4/5 user.

H70%

Definitely. Many well thought-out tools and a very intuitive UI. One little feature would make it even better: If you could automatically save any changes of a document to a PDF file (without having to export manually), one could use Google Drive's OCR to make all notes searchable.

I use this app religiously. It is an absolute must for anyone with a Galaxy Note who takes handwritten notes. I'd literally be lost without it. It combines simplicity with excellent functionality in a way few apps do. I hope the developer keeps updating... This is one of the few apps I'd gladly pay for.

I am a regular user of Write, the best note-taking app for android. Write beta has addressed almost every shortcoming of this great app. I only miss being able to turn on the eraser with the S-pen button. Please add that feature again!

The app works wonders, but I need more from it. I would like it to be able to sync to my other devices so I can see my notes everywhere else. This would enhance productivity a ton, trust me. Finally, when I rename my documents, I want the file to have that name also. Right now, when the document in the app is renamed, it is just in the app. The files are just random numbers and I cannot tell which one is which unless I rename it again there in the files folder. That is very inefficient.

Works very well with Galaxy NotePRO, except I cant's get the pen button to do anything... Especially the SVG graphics is a very nice feature... cool, smooth UI, sensible file format etc. Really waiting for the final version!

Widgets would be great to quickly access and also to display a thumbnail of any selected document.

All I can say is WOW. You are a flippin genius. So much better than previous version (which was pretty great too). Why not charge a little for it so you can devote more time to it? (BTW on my new kitkat v4.4.2 I can't save to ext sdram so that would be a nice fix). Keep it up buddy! Thanks!

Y70%

SNote & Write-like, but much faster and simpler given the options; local and UI's index folio movements to arrange notes adds a mature nature to this. Also 'Action Memo' a standard Note2-3 app imports nicely. An upgrade beyond this might mean Exporting, but frankly it would render the other 4 apps I have useless, if that happens. This succeeds in privacy where every note app I've previously downloaded - fails.
