Stuck on Earth for Android
App loads super slow on all fast wifi networks...
App is buggy and needs updating but it is a really useful app for exploration
Good idea but poor poor app. And abandoned afterwards by developer.
Clunky and unresponsive
Samsung Galaxy S4 with wifi. Photos take an exorbitant amount of time loading. Unusable -uninstalling.
The app suggests a faster connection helps photos load faster. I tried viewing the photos using wifi and on my computer and it still rather slow not to mention the interface needs improvement. If the viewer needs mega bandwidth and a super fast connection good luck. I'm sure Trey and his crew will work out the bugs and get it working but for now will take a pass. It's a good concept and another avenue for Trey to share his photos so it's worth developing.
first off - it talks. it asked for my name MIKE - it says Michael for some reason. i see no way of turning it off. it shows just snap shots of the area. 2 guys kissing. dead flowers etc. useless erasing.
I was looking for photos of interesting and beautiful places. Most of what I have seen are selfies and some low quality photos.
Samsung S5- I have to fight with this app too much. Easier to plan my shoots ahead of time with google maps and show photos. Sorry karen, but your voice is way over the top and a little creepy in this app. Had to turn it off. I have been wating for this app for a year. Very disspointing. Un-install for now.
The images of leaves, animals and selfies should not be on here.. it makes finding landscape locations a chore. Rubbish pictures should be filtered
Thanks for bringing it on Android Trey! Guess I'll have to had some photos of gatineau... Very few of them now.
This is an App that every photographer MUST have! Very useful to discover new places around especially when you're traveling!
Really exceeded my expectations, i live in a relatively remote area and i was surprised to still see dozens of entries.
I love sharing and looking at photos so this is simply amazing. Great job..
the webview for connecting up your Flickr account needs to have JavaScript enabled for Flickr to work
Is there a way to rate photos? Some seem out of place.
Helpful but could be better
This app needs to be redesigned. No back button or menu. It's almost useless on a phone. This looks to be meant for a tablet.
TOO COOL! If you want to know where some great shots have been taken around where you are...THIS is the app! Great job Trey. :)
Great!
So slow
This is a lovely polished app and I wish more were as clean and smooth as this one. Fantastic for finding photo locations nearby. For all those moaning about the voice you can turn it off in the settings! !
Samsung Slll- I have to fight with this app too much. Easier to plan my shoots ahead of time with google maps and show photos. Highly recommend checking it out. You'll be hooked from the start.
The concept is very interesting but overall I'm disappointed. The UI is slow not very good and it's practically unusable on a phone. I was excited when I saw the app.
A must have apps nit just for photographer but also for travellers, thank you Trey
This user interface is either very modern or very lacking. I want to free up some space and delete saved trips on My Nexus 7 (2013). But apparently I'm too stupid to figure out how.
Why is this so slow? On both my galaxy nexus and HTC one m8 it's frustratingly slow.
This app really is groundbreaking stuff ,well designed ,well delivered. My only gripe is that it is very slow to load pictures on my Samsung Galaxy Tab3 for some reason-any fixes/ideas devs?
GPS couldn't detect
I was so excited to find an app like this but it didn't seem to work. I can't see any pictures and it keeps crashing. Sounds like a great way to explore new areas. 5 stars if you can fix it.
Content is pretty good, but the app repeatedly installs a shortcut onto the home screen even if you disable it.
New to app and trying to learn all it offers. Great concept and wonderful pics. Has frozen a few times and forced close but I'll give it a chance
No matter what I try I can't see any trips once I'm offline. This renders the app completely useless.
The purpose of this app is great, which is to see photos submitted based on location, which helps you get ideas for photos in those places, and it works OK for that. However even on high speed internet, this app is far to slow for just having to load a single picture as you swipe to the next one. Frequent load times of the next photo of 2 to 3 seconds, makes me lose interest.
Need MAJOR User Interface redesign. The voiceover helps but not by much. There are certain standards one should follow when developing an app. No home, back or other buttons that give the app a structure.
I think this will complete my library of the creations from Stuck In Customs. Everything he (they) do is amazing. Trey Ratcliff is the reason I started HDR.
Love Karen's voice work in this app. Everything works as it should, but sharing your trips needs to be a reality before 5 stars are to be considered.
I don't have a lot of time to research the places I visit so this app is a godsend.

I am a photographer and am always looking for locations. When I heard about this app I thought it was a great idea. But, as it is, it is not very useful to me. First, the quality of the user submitted photos is very poor, and often does not even show the location, which defeats the purpose for me. The photos need to be reviewed and approved first and adhere to some guidelines. Second big problem is that the pins sometimes don't appear until you zoom in very close and you miss a lot of them. Always loading..
