Mobile HotSpot

I have a ZTE ZMAX 2 cell phone that originally was an AT&T Gophone that was unlocked. I now want to use the device with another cell phone carrier as a mobile hotspot. What I found is if I used the internal mobile hotspot feature, it would always fail with an unsupported message, even though the cell carrier supports mobile hotspot. What I found is this phone's AT&T build checks AT&T servers for mobile hotspot on my account, which does not exist. Tried six other mobile hotspot apps, they all failed as did the internal feature. This app works, I now have a mobile hotspot!

Some users says Why create this apps if there phone already have this setting so don't bother yourself to add a review just keep your mouth closed and go away. As some phones doesn't have this setting that why it had been created. Got it!!!! You fool.

Does not activate hot spot mode on Galaxy S5; my prepay carrier refuses hot spot connections. Otherwise, if I had stayed with big V, wouldn't need any app.

I live in a rural area and my home internet sucks. I exhausted all my options and could not get Xbox to hook up to my phone hotspot. I even called both Verizon and Xbox tech support with no help. Then I downloaded this app and it fired right up. Zero lag gaming is a God send when you live in the country!

I have a ZTE max 2 from att that I unlocked and am using with t mobile. The only problem was finding a hotspot app that would work without root. This app works seamlessly on this model.

And that problem is that the HotSpot works, it gives out free Wi-Fi, but the problem is it doesn't let you connect to the device or Android that your using, it only lets other devices or Androids connect to the HotSpot and that made it a big problem. If you want to go on a vacation or something like that and there's no Wi-Fi and you need some, well, you'll need to ask someone else, other than you, to turn their Mobile HotSpot on, if they have one.

e on my card, 1.99 or not I don't care I'm not being scammed out of my hard earned money....don't download this,does absolutely nothing, it's giving u access to something ur phone provider already does, and if they don't this will not work....

I enabled Wi-Fi and the app disabled hotspot. Additionally, I couldn't figure out how to enable this feature or if it simple was on by default when Wi-Fi was on but sadly app kept disabling Wi-Fi. Samsung Galaxy S6

Worked great for my ZTE android on the ps4 it picked up as nat type3 but it would still let me connect to other players on bo3 unlike my regular hot spot it shows as nat3 but I could not join players... as of now I hAve a samsung galaxy amp 2 and this app will say it's on but I can not pick it up on anything if you could fix that, that would be great

This app works perfect great connect signal strength...people first put password then go to settings to pram click time for 90 mins then disable hotspot when battery is 5% then go back and click hotspor on......don't but app it doesn't stay connected

I turned it on and then I went on my iPad and it said no wifi available... Don't download it's just a scam/piece of junk

It said, your phone carrier may not support hotspot, but my phone does, if I wanted to pay to use my own hot spot setting in my phone I would have, I knew this was too good to be true.

The was what I have wanted lollipop allowed you to create a shortcut on home screen. I have missed that greatly since update to marshmallow

I have tried many hotspots and I will say this is the #1 app. I stand by it 100%. . .I have been using it for about 3 yrs. n I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it. It works exactly how it is suppose to. The best part of all is you do not need to buy hotspot from your carrier.

Whether this works or not for you depends on your phone and carrier. My phone supports it. My signal strength isn't strong enough for other devices to connect to the internet. Can still use for transferring files between my phone and computer tho and since it doesn't take up much space on my SD card I think I'll keep it just for that.

I just don't understand why someone creates an app that does exactly what I can do in my settings. .. except it doesn't work. The whole point of these programs Is to get around carrier restrictions that nickel and dime you for an addl Hotspot fee. I think I can handle turning on my Hotspot if I had the subscription. . I don't need a program like this to not work on my phone.

I was able to make my phone a hotspot in less than 15seconds. I got 2 other devices connected and so far so good!! Im not what you would call internet savvy , not into technology , and I was able to figure it all out in under 90seconds !

I have had nothing but Success with this App on my ZTE grand max plus. Works quick and only one push of a button. One thing is.... Its not Free! But I Love It!!!

I was initially satisfied with this app but later found that it has been rendering the WiFi open even in spite of a password being set. It is very irritating when limited usage internet gets leaked out for public use.

Allows auto disabling of wifi hotspot on timer or battery conditions. This app overrides the system wifi hotspot settings, i.e. device name and password. Reconfigure these settings in app before using.

It only works if you pay for a subscription from your carrier.... if you're lucky. I've been paying for 3 months and it still doesn't work.

This app is great it does as told. But one thing i didnt consider is. I have unlimited data. But, not unlimited mobil hotspot through metro. Does this app just use my mobil data. Or my phones data so its infinite? Asking because i host a hotspot to do my gaming and it works no lag or anything. Maybe an occational disconnect

Have 4g lte, and I'm using it to connect to my Xbox One. Just spent an hour playing Grand Theft Auto 5 multiplayer with no lag at all! Outstanding

I have read some comments, and im shaking my head. It puts out wifi based on your service, you cannot connect your phone to its own hotspot. I find that it does what it is supposed to do

I love that it doesn't stop, I was using Fox Fi but only had access to the trial. With Mobile Hotspot I dont have to worry about my connection timing out.

Other devices cannot see mobile hot spot to connect to. Mobile hot spot will not stay on. Terrible app, don't waste your time.

This is a free hotspot for your phone that WORKS GREAT ITS FREE. I have been using this app for along time and I use it for my ps3 to play online

This use to work very well on my Prime, but ever since I had updated it I could never get it working. It doesnt show the notification in the top corner. Id rate it a 5 it worked like before.

I never got past the first screen. I turned it on 5 times and now I'm past the free trial without ever trying it.

Been very pleased. Just updated my Cricket Grand Prime to Android 5.1.1. and it no longer works with the update, but until now I've been incredibly pleased. Hoping app will be updated soon to be compatible with the android update. :)

The hot spot didn't work right at first it kept cutting off so I uninstalled it and re installed it an few days later and now it's working great again so fare. "To be continued"

I have a Samsung galaxy sIII from Verizon, if it just works for T-Mobile SIM card in my phone from Verizon, it'll be fine, but if only this Goddamn thing works we'll be ok. got it?

I was able to set my password and I hooked it up to my laptop and connected if to the WiFi signal. Only thing is, it didn't connect. It only says that the connection is limited.

It worked great at first then it stopped working. Where can I buy a WiFi or hot spot that works for my Polaroid tablets

Runs off my data plan I paid for already and makes my phone internet win on leggy and slow so this app is a fail

It would not show up in the corner when I turned it in, and never showed up in any list of available networks. Each time I tired counted as one of the free uses, even though it never worked. Not worth downloading

I don't really need this app, but I downloaded to give it try, to confirm that it doesn't work with my T-Mobile samsung S6 EDGE.

It just says obtaining ip adress and doesn't connect.
