StrongLifts 5x5 Workout for Android
I've made more gains using this application in one month than I have my entire life. Lol. Seriously. I did not know how to make gains - when to increase the weights. I purchasers the power pack to get the most out of the application. I don't regret a single cent spent. Bring us the advanced 5x5 and Madcow (?) 5x5 next. Pleassssse.
App is very simple and easy to understand. I paid for premium before I realized the app only had a few workouts built in. But the customization potential is there and you can add your own workouts. Very timely reply from developer with my concerns. Try it, you won't regret it.
Why this app needs access to all my contacts is beyond me, but it's never going to happen. It would be criminally negligent to offer up the names, addresses, phone numbers & email accounts of my personal and business associates to the equivalent of a stranger on the streets. It's morally irresponsible. I switched to "Fitnotes" instead.
Terrible issues with restoring purchases. I recovered and then switched accounts and the unlock disappeared again. Stupidly annoying that I have to remove my google account from the phone to get the pack back and it disappears again. Too much effort for an app that bolsters "easy to use" make restoring purchases easier and Ill give this app 5 again
I'm so shocked that you can do whole body in just five exercises less than 30 min. All of my muscles are painful. This is so perfect.
This program is simple and effective. It does everything it claims. I love the feature that automatically adjusts your workout when you plateau. I find that this eliminates the discouragement that naturally comes with missing a lift several workouts in a row.
I can't stand how it adds weight increments that I don't have. I would've thought that inputting the different weights and bar weight that it would work with just that.
Easily tracks and guides my workouts. Solid programming. Few, if any bugs. Just what you need to get started for free, but the paid version allows you to customize your workouts more.
What I like best is the minimalism - the fewest exercises for maximum muscle movement. For those with infrequent access to equipment, it's perfect to use your limited barbell availability with the greatest efficiency.
Love the entire program. Wish the new update still had a display of failure history per exercise like the last version, though.
Great app. However I wish we had more customization of the workout. Also customizing reps for something like push ups would make sense. I can't really add weight to those so I add reps but can't reflect that outside of the diary
Simple and effective plan, easy to use app. Makes it very hard to make excuses when the workout takes 30 minutes or less
Brilliant app! Have been trying to stick to it (with every now and then changing it up for the odd workout) but is working well, seeing and feeling results. Just need to get the diet down. Thanks!
Program is great. The app messes with deezer and crashes it though.

Great app for a beginner like me. I'm a 40 yo man just trying to build some bulk, and this app makes tracking the workouts so simple. Love it.
Hands down the most convenient app for begginers or people getting back into it. Your strength comes fast with this app if you're patient with through the first month or so.

This is the best workout app out there. The progressive weight addition forces you to improve, and the rest timer is what every serious gym rat needs. Get the app and watch yourself improve!!
Great app. Well laid out. Cool to see stats and growth. I haven't figured it out with phone locked. I have to keep my screen on at all times.
Great workout program but the app KEEPS LOSING MY WORKOUT DATA! going back to pencil and paper. Spent too much time uninstalling/reinstalling and logging in and out.
Super simple and works great. Upgrade seems a bit expensive, would love to just see ads and get a bit more content, or tiered purchase, but really is good.
Simple, well made and the first few weeks are not only great for beginners to get used to lifting, but an excellent deload if you've been doing intense or volume oriented workouts and need a change of pace.

I have seen amazing gains since beginning this program. It honestly works and Medhi's email tips are a bonus. By far the best app for weight training.
The app does exactly what it should. The videos are very helpful for newcomers to lifting and the option to add extra lifts is nice.
I have the unlocked app. I love it. However wished there were more flexibility in adding/editting workouts that I would like to perform i.e. cable crunches.
Easy to use, informative, lock screen functions, great app. Been using it for a few years, before on iPhone. It keeps getting better. Would like to see more fluid options for adding your own extra exercises to the A or B sets.

I've tried to enter my starting weights multiple times, and when the screen switches, it changes them on its own. Tried to reinstall, same deal.
Works as intended. Great way for beginner to increase strength .UPDATE The timer in between sets sometimes stopped when I went to another app let's say to change stations. Anyway they fixed it.
Thought I lost my data, developer responded and turns out it was my own fault. Great app, thank you!

Its a good app but it's annoying how I can't replace any of the workouts because my gym doesn't have a squat rack so it's impossible for me to do them...
Works well, no issues, although the interface could be a little more intuitive. Easy to figure out, just not set up how I might have done it if it were my app.
Within the first month I noticed gains that were significant. Getting stronger and cut at the same time.
I love it's no nonsense approach. Put the weight on and go. Video tutorials great if unfamiliar with any of the lifts

I bought the premium. And since I injured my shoulder I can't do bench or overhead presses. I'm not able to edit the workouts so I could remove those exercises. Also would be awesome if you'd add 5x3 to the list. Edit: I meant add 5x3 to Squats, Deads, Rows etc. Also Thanks for answering this quick.
