Stromer OMNI

Although app doesn't crash anymore, it still has connection issues, even when it clearly shows on the bike that there is good signal. Having to "pull down" the screen in the app, to refresh / retry connection. Even worse though, annoying message keeps popping up, stating that there's no connection to Stromer... so annoying and unnecessary. Also the screen real-estate is still not efficiently being used in landscape mode and there's still no "night mode" switch. Therefore, it's only barely usable.

After several phones, o.s. changes and reomval/install, this app is utterly useless. Buggy, locks up and won't connect to a $7k bike. Nice job tech's. Maybe I should blame the bike that locked me out at 11 pm the other night. Stromer customer support not returning calls. Multiple visits to the dealer. I'm fed up. Considering buying a Stromer? I can't stress enough how un-impressed I am. Problems so far: new omni module, replaced battery and charger, failed rear brake (hydraulic) theft mode not resetting with app and solid signal, reflectors fell off...following the kickstand, failed headlight. Tires rub fenders, state of charge inaccuracies, random motor and torque sensor faults. Have fun pedaling a 60 pound bike home that made your wallet nice and light.

...after today's update. Still feel like a beta tester instead of a valuable customer.

Can't even start to use the app as I'm still waiting for my email to be sent, even though I have tried multiple times and checked my trash folder.

- the background is all white - blinds at night time - starts out with "news", in German (my device is set to US English and I am located in the USA)... + the text on input elements (buttons) are in English language (on my device) and descriptive text is in English too - at the time of the login, every time I switch my bluetooth keyboard from my main PC to my phone, while the app is open, it restarts / resets - the app tells me that my bike needs to install an update... I turn on OMNI and it says it has an update ready, I select "ok" and the touch screen starts flashing and then it says "update ok" after it restarts. The app still though says my ST2 needs an update. Closing and restarting the app didn't change anything, still shows that my ST2 needs the update... 1 star so far, due to that the app is now totally unusable.

Inzwischen musste ich schon zweimal einen Passwort reset machen, weil ich sonst nicht mehr in die App gekommen wäre und mein Bike bei einen Distallock nicht hätte entsperren können. Leider wird auch der Unlock im Vordergrund ausgeführt und man kann das Telefon nicht wieder in die Tasche stecken. Selbst wenn es sonst funktionieren würde ist es nicht Alltags tauglich.
