Museum of London: Streetmuseum for Android
I like London very much
Just an excuse to sell prints. If you love London there is nothing new here.
If only it was able to be moved to the SD card this app would be perfect
A really nice idea but it is huge 18 meg , also images are obscured by the text over them which I couldn't get to close
Please invest some more work in improving this app. It's a great documenting tool when you can take photos and overlay modern London with historical London but the android version doesn't give this functionality.
Force closes immediately upon opening on my Google Nexus S.
Won't run on Nexus7
Limited content and badly positioned photos mean it's virtually impossible in most cases to transpose the real life image over the historic picture. The lack of the ability to take photos and then share is an unforgivable oversight that renders this app little more than a advertising portal for old photos. I would use Google Images for better quality and variety.
Really enjoying exploring different localities of the capital across the centuries, chiefly or own - both in paint and photography. I get impression the pictures are still being updated on ongoing (it so, might be handy to mark newer entries)? Looking forward to Nexus upgrade (presumably will include 10?), when looking forward to upping to 5 stars.
No 3D view button so a totally pointless app !
Since the latest update, it starts up successfully on Samsung Galaxy S II.
UI is unappealing and content is relatively small but through +1's hopefully this will change.
Shame...can't open it at all....have installed it twice so still no good.
might be good, but only on certain phones.
Force closes on start looking for non existent assets on my Desire.
Works like a G6 on my rooted SE X10i, obviously you need to be in London for 3D to kick in.... Glad to see this on Android
Amazing idea, yet to try a 3d view yet though. Only uses 300k on my desire, installed to sd automatically, much appreciated for bringing to android
Won't work on samsung galaxy sII!!!!
Will not load when installed on memory or on SD card it simply force closes. I using an HTC HD2 with android installed and have tried variations of the Android OS and it never works. Appears to be an issue with native Android handsets too which is a shame.
Love the concept, just a shame it force closes all the time on nexus s
Thoughts this looked like a fascinating app but I am not able to use it on my Galaxy S II. It force closes immediately upon opening.
Works fine on my galaxy s with android 2.3
Forced close on switching to 3d view / xperia arc
Forces close with file not found exception when trying to load assets.
It doesn't work on Galaxy S II as it keeps crashing when trying to open it.
Great idea, but too big.
Force close :-( Hero CM6.1
