Strava Running and Cycling GPS for Android
Great app, I'm addicted but it has limits, sometimes it's not accurate completely as you can ride along with someone the whole way and the elevation could be very different. That doesn't bother me too much though. Great app all round. Tried the premium version but not really worth it in my mind
Fantastic app, great for tracking mileage and your own improvement! The only minor thing is that the autopause function doesn't work as well as it used to therefore stopping at lights etc does adversely affect timing. That said I use this app every day and would never be without it.
Helps keep me accountable with my friends on Strava and challenges me on segments. It's helped me connect with other fitness minded individuals. I've made several new friends. Can't compare it to any other app because I haven't used anything else. Segment leaderboards got me motivated. See you on the road. Ride safe!
Very fun and incredibly useful. I especially love seeing how I've done on different segments over time. Problem is, anyone can declare any segment "hazardous" (acceptable reasons include "Crosses intersection" and "Mixed use trail"), hiding all of that wonderful data forever. Ugh.
Haven't got the premium, but the compatibility with other devices is awesome. Helps you and friends keep track of your performances who haven't got a Garmin. When I don't have my garmin with me I found strava to be the more accurate to use out of other running apps. Thanks Strava
Simple to use. Great for keeping in touch with people and to monitor your performance and training. Challenge, I find, help to keep you motivated as do weekly and annual targets. Strava is part of my daily routine. Maybe sad but true!
My problem with this app it gives me incorrect splits and has GPS signal problem.. I don't know maybe it's my phone please I would love to get assisted. My phone is LG stylus
Love this app! I can't not turn it on when I go riding. Helps me track kms the bike has done overall. Had a couple of GPS dropouts but that's about it! I recommend it to all my mates who are getting into riding
What would I do without Strava! Now I have a Garmin it is even better, saves battery life and I still get to analyse to my hearts content. Stay away from the website it is super addictive!!!
I love Strava and use it a lot, but with my Garmin. I have yet to record a ride of more than 6km, as at that point the app always crashes. 5* for looking at your stats, 1* as a recording tool. Galaxy S 5
Strava became the de facto social Running app among my training groups. I haven't tried the paid version but I'm sure it can only add to the overall experience.
I pay for premium but don't think I'll bother when it runs out. Don't really get much for my money, but the app itself is brilliant.
Strava has changed my life! I am addicted to personal bests and King of the mountain! Free version is very good and friends with premium rave about it. Definitely recommend
Lovin this app.. The new route planner and connectivity with other users is great. Finding it does push me on and want to improve my PB's all the time.
Have used the app for 3 years and it's great in so many ways. The greatest thing that is lacking in my opinion is the ability to select a portion of the ride for analysis that isn't a segment. Power line graph could also make a great option. I've wanted these features for about two years and thought they were no brainers . Segment leader boards can't be viewed in full in the app. Otherwise it'd easily be 5 stars.
Great app. Easy to use and connects with a variety of apps and devices. Also good for showing photos and messages with friends. The associated website is good but limited, I have to use other services to join or correct incomplete or erroneous GPS tracks.
Great if you have a bunch of friends on it for some healthy rivalry/support. Still useful for keeping all your run/ride data in one place, but less compelling without the social aspect.
Fantastic for recording rides, and following and competing with friends. Training logs, annual targets, flybys, annual maps of where I've ridden, all brilliant. Planning routes not as good as mapmyride.
As a cyclist, Strava is the app to use IMHO but I've used it while it on long walks etc. It's certainly made me much more aware of daily activity levels. Which has to be a good thing.
If you have Huawei p9 lite expect a lot of problems. With every update it's worse than with previous version . It just stops recording in the middleof the ride. Or just doesn't record at all.
The voice coach is fantastic and the new ui is very pretty. I love the segment challenges and the the post run data breakdowns. All told, it's a glorious app!
It's ok most of the time, but almost never matches the data of the electronic cycle computers. GPS connection rather than the app might be responsible for the discrepancy. Overall good, especially for socializing among cycling groups
Just getting to grips with it, so far easy to use, good privacy facility, use with phone however need to purchase a smaller GPS device ie watch as phone impractical. Kudos!
Had very few problems with it, one fairly big issue is that it often puts a squiggly line when you've run in a straight line and this messes up timings and PB's. However mostly excellent, great to plan routes and track progress. Highly recommend!
Great features and community for cycling, just makes for a really poor cycling computer if you strap your phone onto your bike, even with the premium version. The record screen can't be customised and has only instantaneous stats, no average HR, speed, cadence etc. Wish there was an API for the UI so that I could fix this myself
Great app. If you could adjust errors in the recorded data easily (e.g. resync with Garmin after correcting pool laps) it would be perfect
Great app. Any problems refer to the atrocities for less fortunate of this world.
Last 3 rides have all stopped at the start. I'm on Samsung galaxy 7 edge. Unsure if it's a know issue or not.
App is really good. Not sure if I want to go to premium as can't find a good article that shows he benefits.
Great app for biking running and walking! Works very well with heart sensors and other gear or just on your phone. Great community. If it isn't on Strava, it didn't happen!
I'm addicted to strava! Best fitness app around!
Strava is awesome. The Android app doesn't seem quite as good as the Apple version because you can't scroll back to previous weeks however that's nitpicking.
Very bad. It's only like a stop watch after the first use. It stops tracking run doesn't show pace or distance just the time like a stop watch.
Great app, keeps me pushing myself. Had a free trial of premium, doesn't seem to add anything meaningful to the app.
Occasionally drops out and doesn't record...usually when I've smashed a segment for time! Kind of annoying but still a good app
Be careful! Don't let Strava take control of your riding, it can become quite addictive!
Great app to track your fitness and improvements. A tad pricey for premium given its accuracy, but in all fairness, all gps tracking devices need better accuracy. Works well in conjunction with my Garmin 810.
This is an amazing app, even just the free part. It's like FB and Connect merged together to give runners a social platform to keep all their running stats in.
Does what I mostly need it for, record my activities. But the user interface is strangely lame: Cannot queue more than one activity for upload, cannot remove bad GPS points except at the ends.

Nice app. App motivates me to better and more frequent workouts. That's why I rate it 5 star. I use it daily for mountain biking to upload, analize & share ride data gathered on my Garmin 1000 paired to ant+ sensors. Oçcasionally I use Strava to gather GPS data when having Garmin issues. Strava GPS limitations on twisty single track under tree canopy are phone type & phone service dependent so I prefer Garmin for this purpose. Also phone dependent are pairing issues with certain sensors. For instance my Motorola droid turbo 2 Android phone pairs with Bluetooth sensors but not ant+.
