Crafty Remote Control

Love the vape and the app. Also would like to say the customer service is amazing. Just one thing, would love the option to control the auto power off time in the app, it's annoying to have to keep tapping the power button or it keep turning itself off if you don't as I'm often pulling so lightly it won't get the red light on again, especially at the start. Surely this could be easy to add in??

Will only occasionally connect to my s6. Super annoyed... have to reset phone to connect every time. Sees it in my Bluetooth list but won't see it in the app. Should be able to manually pair through Bluetooth too

The app it self seems solid. It needs a input field for temperatures though. It's so frustrating to use only +/- buttons when there is also a faster way. Why make user tap or hold the buttons when they could just type the temperature they want. Material design would also bee cool.

Ok developers. A few tweeks needed to make this app great. The app needs to have permission to turn Bluetooth on. The app errors to much with cannot connect then connects fine, update the timeout. Please add a 'find my crafty' to make the vape vibrate and flash. Thanks a bunch. Long time S&B fan

Bought this used off a good friend of mine for a good chunk of change. Downloaded the app to my S6. Was pumped to use this app, and my phone wouldn't sync to the device. Pissed off. Asked my daughter to download the app to her iPhone, and the dam device synced immediately. I have no control for temperature or boost. Not pleased at all.

Very bad app. Was able to connect my vap just a few times and now nothing. I tried reinstalling. I would not recommend this app. Btw I have a moto g with Android 6

As Alexander mentioned it would be great to adjust auto off timer. It really is annoying that Crafty turns off every minute if button is not pressed. Other than that very solid app.

For some reason I could not get the device to connect to my phone a Samsung Galaxy S7, but could on an iPhone 4 please fix this error.

App is overall solid. Was previously connected to the app before resetting my phone . when I try to connect the device now the save button isn't clickable after entering serial. Same thing for multiple device I've tried from android to apple

Awesome application, one thing i think would be cool is if the remote remembered what the battery charge level was at when last connected, so you dont have to turn it on and let it connect to see if you need to charge your crafty. Love it still though

Used to work perfectly. Now, it will not connect to S6 Edge... Minor errors resolved my a**.

Works great. BUT - o's are letters, not zeros, when inputting the serial number. Very important. The o's are letters not numbers. Now it works every time. BEST VAPORIZER save for big brother mighty.

It will eventually connect, but it's usually a process of restarting the app several times. Once connected, it tends to work, but often the temperature readout will freeze. The unit will still heat up, but the readout will not update until the app is restarted.

Wasn't finding my new phone for a day but I waited 24 hrs, reset all devices, turned off old phone S5 completely and it finally linked with S7. Runs great now!

Won't work on my new Sony Xperia but will on my old Sony Xperia, why?

The app and my bluetooth settings stopped recognizing my Crafty. I tried resetting and putting in my SN but it won't let me press okay.

On Android 6.0.1. It is impossible for me to save the serial number as the save button is greyed out. Will update rating once fixed

Great, though I would like to have a widget, maybe even a few to choose from (e.g. battery %, °C, + & - temp etc)

Amazing preformance from this pocket size portable device. Nice and clean app. Big fan of S&B here. Please keep making this briliant devices.

Won't except the serial number off the vap. Put the serial number in 6 times now it's working

App on my 2nd generation Moto X generally says it can't find the Crafty. Works intermittently - about 1 in 10 uses. Basically useless.

I have a GS5 running Lollipop 5.0 and works great. Super easy to use and even easier to setup and connect. Turn bluetooth on, turn Crafty on, open Remote Vap app, and it instantly recognizes and connects to the Crafty. Would love to see more updates and new features in the app like a low/fully charged battery indicator notification on your smartphone, or an option to see actual battery percentage, but maybe I'm asking for a lot. Long story short, Storz & Bickel made a pretty good app and an even better vape

Love the app it is awesome. Great idea but this is my second crafty and for whatever reason the app glitches. Never happened before with the first one. Same phone.

I had to send mine in for warranty repair and they sent me a brand new one. I am very pleased with my Crafty Vape!

I previously wrote about how I was unhappy they wouldn't update the app but it turns out my device needed an update so i sent it in the mail after speaking to support and instead they gave me a new device hassle free! Storz & Bickel, you've just earned yourself a lifelong customer! Can't wait to buy their other lines!

Brand new Galaxy S7 was looking forward to using my crafty with the app since I couldn't on my old windows phone and it wouldn't even recognize the device. Wish it worked. I'm sure for those who got it to work this app is awesomeness! That's a shame I really love s&b products... always been a fan.

Has been a full year now, get it together S&B. I have to find someone with an old device just to change temps. Ridiculous

It's a clean, simple, straight forward app to enhance the already amazing Crafty! It's great to have the same features of say, the Volcano Digit, without compromising size; it's a portable after all. The majority of people have their phone within arms reach anyways, so I don't find it inconvenient to use this. I love the Crafty, especially for the convenience of function control, thanks to this app. Would definitely recommend this product/app duo.

Best customer & service support i ever experienced in my life. Had compatibility issues with Android 5.01 Lollipop, device wasn't connecting to the phone. Reported the issue here in GPlay, received an email next day, asking for more details, the same day i was informed that UPS will come the next day to pickup the device. I was asked to send just the base unit without cooling unit and none of the accessories. After a week i received promptly a brand new Crafty in sealed box with ALL accessories in the box. Thank you Storz&Bickel for that. This is an excellent illustrative example how should customer & service support for a Premium product work ! 10+ for Storz&Bickel FYI All !!! A necessity if you own a Crafty I don't like the default booster temp of 27 F. so I can change that with the app For having the best vaporizer on the market for the price, I wish Storz & Bickel would have spent a little more time on this app. I only had one connection problem one time, I consider a fluke on my Galaxy Note 5. But why if we have to use a phone app to control it, could we not have a better battery meter that doesn't resemble something from the 80's or 90's? I would like an idea how long until the vape is charged. One annoying thing about using the app on your phone is the constant dimming and the screen lock with stand android system settings. Nothing more annoying than having to tap the screen every few seconds while trying to vape. There are several android apps that will keep screen on and make your vaping experience so much more comfortable with the app

Used to work fine until my phone updated to Lollipop. Now will not connect and says timed out.

Sony experia z3, refused to connect to my phone, I was running 5.0.1 android and now I have android 5.1.1 it also does nothing, I find it annoying because I can't adjust the settings, not good.

Can't connect through my phone and tried all of friends phone. Been a long time now and still not working please fix this asap!!

The app looks great but it will not connect to my Nexus 5 running Android 5.1. The website stated that my device is supported but that is clearly not the case. I will review again after it is usable on my device. Edit: Sent my Crafty in for a firmware update and they were able to fix the problem. I got it back in four business days. Great customer service!
