Pro: My daughter (6 yr) loved this app -- the first time through. She picked up the puzzles quickly (intuitive use of touch and hints), though she didn't find them very challenging. Graphics, story and puzzles are high quality. Cons: Replay value is low; pretty much a half hour of value. Price is too high for a throwaway product like this.

Since downloading these stories they are the only thing she really plays now.

This is an amazing app, great interaction and very entertaining.yet i have reduce my rating to one as it won't open any more"licence check error please try again later" poor show...

LICENSE ERROR "Please try later" If you wont give a product that I paid for at least give me my money back.

Please fix for galaxy s2, 5 stars will be updated. :)

Have wasted my time and money. Have uninstalled and installed this program several times over the last few days. Keep getting "license error" message and it won't work. Have emailed developer and no reply! Would give 0 stars but you can't.

My 7 and 5 year olds love this book, especially the mini games. 1 star deducted for the grammatical error ("enjoying" instead of "enjoyed") which is unacceptable in a kids book.

I bought all the storytoys interactive books for my 3yr old. He loves them all. They are installed on my tablet (Acer iconia A500) and my phone Samsung galaxy s. Buy them they are great

Kids really enjoy the activities that are mixed in. Requires Internet access to verify license and this loses a star. It's annoying to be on the road or way from home and not able to read a purchased book.

I removed one star because I had a license error for a few days. Do you really need DRM?

You pay money to get a book with all black pages. Only the interactive pages are working, but sadly no text is visible, lots of black pages.

This is wonderful! My baby loves to do the games, with there were more like them for her.

The story and games intermixed is a great idea and works well. However I would like to see auto-play just read the story and skip the games. My 4 year old is going through the story for the second time on his own right now on our Samsung Galaxy Tab 10". The graphics are really good, but it would be nice to see higher resolutions for Tablet devices. We will be purchacing more stories. :)

Downloaded several of these apps and my daughter loves them. However, this one only downloads to 92% even after several attempts. WiFi connection is ok on my device as checked it by going to other sites. Disappointing as my daughter is now upset. I have been charged twice for this app and download has failed...I just hope getting my £5.00 refunded is not going to be a problem. UPDATE...Finally downloaded 30 minutes later, refund for £2.50 already in progress. My daughter loves the app so benefit of the doubt given, perhaps glitch was with Google Play site. Originally rated 1 star, now 5....great app!!

Developers should do a better job with licensing. Had to keep telling my daughter that she couldn't use the app while we were on an airplane flight with no internet. Cached licensing would be a good idea here.

Great - it works on so many levels. I'm totally comfortable leaving the kids with this app. Engaging, creative and tons of fun for my 3 and 5 year olds. I appreciate that the stories are reasonably true to the original literature and not disneyfied. We also enjoy the feature of switching the narrative language from UK to US. Please add Scottish, Irish, Welsh, Australian, Canadian, Cockney... :-)

This doesn't work without an internet connection. Wnats to check the stupid licence.

I have to keep my tablet hidden otherwise they'll sneak it to play this. Don't like having IAP in a kids app, though. Otherwise, very cool.

Good app, sadly doesn't work in restricted profiles which is where my children reside. Keeps wanting Google store access! Fix it please.

My daughter has been loving this app for the last few months, especially the jigsaw puzzles. After she finished all the free puzzles, she wanted me to unlock the rest of them. So I did the IAP to open them up. However (and here's the issue), I have her using this app on her limited profile (on my nexus 7) and the puzzles are only unlocked on my profile, and not on the limited profile. So if she wants to play, she now needs me to get into my account. This needs to be fixed.

Down one star because of new in-app purchases. Otherwise good.

Cannot understand the comments from people complaining about the in-app purchases. These are among the highest quality apps on Android - why should they be free? There are no adds, a sensible parent mode, multiple languages and my daughter loves it. I am happy to pay for quality. Bring back the UK accents though!

Wow! Absolutely beautiful! Only wish we had this sort of thing when I was a kid. My only reason for giving 4 stars rather than 5, is because I do have a little suggestion for how it could be improved upon - highlighted text as words are read. Add this in an update and I assure you, I will revisit this review to add that star :-) ... Oh, and regardless - I am now heading off to purchase more of these babies! Well done! Hmmm - maybe that's another suggestion - discount for multiple purchases? :-) Hey - a girls gotta try!
