It misses out on 2 stars because of the many typos which are never mended. Ok for those who know the works but for those who don't or are unfamiliar with the Scots language there is a lot of room for confusion.

The overview, the entry on the sinners, and the annotations for the slightly too.... Scots words for the average Anglo-Saxon are all brilliant. Thanks for sharing this with the world.

Love it except the glossary n wish it were possible to add poems to a favourites list. If the developer were to take these things into consideration, it would be greatly appreciated!

I recall to my mind A poem Burns once wove. It was one of a kind To Highland Mary his love...The style was like music Simple and warm...I retained in my mind A glimpse of her form. After two or three readings That form sprang up anew In a wind-battered inn And in a surprising church-pew And ever after these phantoms March past in soft turns: They were the joyous hearts, the bruised hearts And the sweethearts from Burns! An app anyone with Scottish roots, just a taste for Scotland, or great poetry needs. This app also turned an ordinary Wed night into an impromptu Burns night :~{D}

Would undoubtedly be five stars if the index were active, enabling a tap on a title to bring you to the poem, and if there were a search facility, at least on titles.

An excellent app spoiled by numerous outrageously wrong translations in the glossary. This must be addressed as it renders the glossary useless.

Has any Scottish person actually looked at the hyperlinked words? Most are wrong!
